I have paid $1,305.00 on a $500.00 loan so far to zipcash. According to them, I still owe $400.00 on the loan. My most recent payment was returned by my bank because my bank account in now in the red due to all the PDL craziness. I don't want to pay them any more money. What should I do first? I know they will be contacting me soon because my payment was returned to them NSF last Thursday or Friday. Please Help! Thank you. I have also been contacted by third party collectors on some old payday loans and have received a lot of information on this site in dealing with them.

I had a payday loan and the check was presented once and did not clear. I was contacted by phone and asked them to redeposit as it would clear. If any questions please contact me. The check was not redeposited. That was in May 2008. A week ago I was served to appear in small claim courts on this debt. I contacted the agency and went in and made a 20.00 payment in good faith and told them I would pay in full on Oct 26 and this was agreed upon. I did not receive a letter and was told they sent a letter and it was returned. I have lived at the same address for seven years.

I left the USA a few yeras ago, I am now in Europe. I left an unpaid Credit card. I know that at my last known address they received a summons. What can happen? It is impossible for me to pay the debt. what can happen?

has anyone gone to court with these bottome feeders? Rannefeld and Associates. I am in the very beginning stages with them, they have already hung up on me 3 times, thanks to so much good info on this site that I used against them. Sending validation request this week, they have already told me that they would not be sending anything to me, that they do not have to legally. I noticed that 2 of my pdl's were under "Desist and Refrain Order" on the California Dept of corporations website. Paycheck Today and Cash Transfer Centers. What does this mean and how can I use it against them? I am getting ready to send out my letters (wage assignment revocation/cease and desist/etc.) to my pdl companies, I am wondering if I should add something about this "order" in the letters. Thanks.

I was sent a stipulation of settlement letter and along with the payment schedule there were some additional terms which were never discussed over the phone during monetary negotiations. Being that the collection agency has a really, really bad reputation, I have not signed the letter because I am cautious about their intentions. To be specific, they are accused of obtaining default judgments and freezing bank accounts using questionable tactics.
