Hello my name is Samantha and I'm from New Jersey. HALP!!!11 I can't even afford to pay utilities, I had all my utilities turned off and i cannot shower, wash my clothes, or watch tv while at home. my coworkers are really starting to notice that i wear dirty clothes and smell, and i think i may get firred. i have 12 payday loans and i see no end to this torment. id love to be able to flush my toilet again. please tell me how i can shoe off these vultures.

What kind of settlement should I negotiate for on my retail cards...20% or less

I was just curious how long it took those of you who has filed BK, how long it took you to file once you retained your attorney? We are paying our retainer this Friday, but it will be serveral weeks before we have enough to finsih paying him and our filing fee. Reny

Hi, well a long story short, maybe more than 8 years ago my mother had sears account, it was around 4,000 dollars I believe, and just a few days ago I checked her mail to see that she got a letter from some law office stating that they owned upwards of 20,000 dollars and that she had to pay it or else they will file suit. Now, my moms only receives ssi, she has no assets, she no longer works. Anyways, I basically pay to take care of her, my question is, could they stop her from getting benefits from the government ?

I've read a lot of conflicting information about getting credit after a ch7. How long can you expect to wait after ch7 before you can get a home loan? At a reasonable %rate? I'm hoping to buy a home in 3 years with the current owner possibly carrying 15%, and getting a traditional mortgage on the remaining 80% (putting 5% down). Is this realistic (assuming the owner will carry)?

I am stuck in a mess with payday loans. I live in Ohio. I am about to lose my house and my car. I have bill collectors calling everyday. I have defaulted on almost all of my payday loans and now they are calling me. I need advice.

They have dissapeared off of the internet, and the phones are not being answered as they were. I think we all got the short end of the stick. We need to file a class action suit against these people.(if they are still in the country)

As you know we are filing chapter 13. The law firm that our overdrawn checking went to, has been calling me. So I called them back tonight to tell them of our plan and to give my attorney's information. The girl is so snoddy..."Well" she said, "Your attorney told you to put your checking account into your chapter 13?" "HUMM they normally don't advise you to put checking accounts into BK", "I'm very surprised by that"... WHATEVER, as far as I know they tell you to put ALL your creditors into your plan!! So she took down all the information, grunted and said good-bye, GOOD LORD!!! Reny
