I have been served with a lawsuit by asset acceptance for an old HSBC account. I filed an answer with the court also requesting discovery of all relevant documents including original contract, items bought as well as detailing principal interest. Both before and after the lawsuit being served we have been working with a credit repair firm who was disputing our debt.

Changing circumstances over the last couple of years has left me unable to "pay off" my credit cards as I used to be able to do. Some immediately due taxes and other items has caused my C.C. debt to stay high and it's been draining my saving account over the last two years to keep up with mortgage payments and monthly bills. After surviving a horse accident two weeks ago which could have turned out a lot worse, then having severe chest pains resulting in another hospital stay a couple days ago, I've realized I need to face reality at this point and assume I will never catch up.

So I'm told in a letter by the OCC that ChexSystem is not covered by the FCRA. So what rules do they have to go by???

I have a loan with GFSIL. I live in Wisconsin. The loan was for $300 and I have paid on this loan the minimum payment to the tune of 5 times the amount of the loan. I have offered to pay on the loan in increments, but they will only accept a one time payment. Does anyone have any advice

I have a really big problem. I am a single mom who is really strapped for cash. I got out of the PDL nightmare earlier this year, but now i think i need to do another loan. I have no one that can loan me any money, I have tried everything. I can not do a direct deposit advance, i have no family just me and my little boy. and the only person that I thought could help is in the same boat as me. So my question is, can you give me advice on where to get the loan, like what company that wont screw me over. Also i dont want the wrong pdl company to get my checking account number.

I have 4 PDLs I described before. I am trying to get out from under them. I have thought about closing my checking account and opening a bank somewhere else, but my bank will sit there and let them attempt every day and not stop the attempts causing massive feels. I had an idea that I am not sure will work, but it might if I coordinated right. Since my account wont stop them, then what if I took the option to pay them all off on the next pay day, the bank lets them go through, they are done and paid off and then I work off the debt with my bank. Has anyone heard of this working.
