I live in Illinois and have 8 loans. I have recently learned that some lenders call the installment loans since you cannot get a payday loan in Illinois. I know that is what one of mine is which is PayDay One. I'm not sure about the others and can't find my contracts. I was in such a pinch at the time I just signed and sent. Can anyone help me in what to do? I also have some cc debt and was thinking about calling t&c which I've seen posted on this site. Please help any info is great. These places are just now starting to call and are about 30 days late.

I know, I know! But I am in a situation where I need something to hold me over for the next couple of weeks, and I plan to pay it right back, I have learned my lesson with that! Are there any places that play fair, I am in Washington DC :?

Hi There! Quick question... I've negotiated with a collection agency to begin paying off the debt, however I have yet to sign anything and I would like to make some agreement so that this won't negatively affect my credit. I read in one of the articles that the ideal thing would be to ask it to be removed- but i doubt they'd be ok with that. The next option would be to mark it unrated, and next would be 'paid' rather than 'paid charge off'. Does anyone have a letter or email template to throw these at the collection agency??

So we have to pay back 100%. One of my friends said when they filed information was sent to all creditors but only a couple repsonded back, thus those were the only ones she had to payback. How does that work with a 100% payback plan? I'm going to ask the lawyer, but I thought maybe one of you might have an idea in the meantime. Reny

I Have a chase bank account at Ohio. A somebody is withdrawing money from my account by check. i gave never taken a check book from the bank how it happens ? can anybody guide me?

You have taken money out of my account and was not given permissinon to do so, i have never stated i want your help!!!! I want my money back in my account,i have found alot of people who are upset with the way you get your money!i have contacted my bank and plan to take this a step ferther ,im going to the authoritys with this as well!!!!Also if i have to, i will contact the media on this . Others have had the same problem with this issue .

I am so peeved! I have already filed for bankruptcy protection and yet Citibank for Home Depot keep calling me even after being informed of my attorney involvement. When does it end? The latest phone call occurred tonight and the gentleman was EXTREMELY rude demanding my attorney information, when in fact I called them a few days earlier with this info. Its amazing their "right hand" does not know what "the left" is doing. I have filed complaints with the ACA and the FTC. I will also file a complaint in the court of law. Do you have any other bits of advice?

i rented an apartment 5 years ago.I left owing 100.00 as of right now this debt reports as active/current and has increased to 3000.00.Is that standard? is it allowed?how do i get rid of it? there is no way i can pay it
