i have been living in south africa for four years and live well below the poverty line, i am moving back to the states in march. is there any way that they will take off the interest for the years i was below the poverty line? i made on average in these four years $600 per month. my original loan was $9000 and is now well over $20,000. i'm not trying to get out of my loan, i am desperately searching for a solution to being able to pay it off. the collection agency has been incredibly rude and at times abusive.

I just need to vent a little bit... I've been working like crazy and really trying to restore my finances since my PDL nightmare. The person who caused all of my financial problems was on a checking account and I didn't realize he knew that. He stole $200 from that account on Saturday. I'm trying not to panic but I can not believe this!!

I love this web site and all of the debt samaritans and moderators who give great advice on how to deal with all issues of the financial spectrum.There is one thing that I have noticed and wonder about and that is the adds for internet payday loans that appear on this site.I realize that advertising dollars have to come from somewhere and these places all have money just as others do.However isn't it conterproductive to have adds from the very thing that most people come to this web site to get advice.I see all kind's of corespondance advising people not to take out loans from these companies

What have I done? Help me List the original amount of the loan for each account EDESC Silverleaf management taken out 4/29/08 of 300.00 90.00 finance charge...5 payment of $90 1 payment of $140 and $125... CMG Group LLC...can't figure out name $300 taken out and at least 4 payment os $90... Loanshop/douglas...they called us b/c we over pd them but in order to cancel the $300 we had to take a $200...pd $60 twice... List what you have paid so far for each loan. Anyone tried NuStart for debt reduction? They work with Matthews law firm somewhere in California. They took my first months payment of $200 then someone called me and said the credit card companies wouldn't agree to that amount, needed to be more. He recommended bankruptcy if I couldn't afford to pay more per month. Now they won't answer or return my calls to get my $200 back.
