Anyone know anything about Payday Avenue in the state of Florida?

I thought this story was funny The ad: "Farmer," a 30-second television spot Producer: Ohioans For Financial Freedom Where to see it: Local TV statewide, or www.ohioans4financialfreedom.com Script: A man depicted as a farmer, speaking to the camera: "I've been studying this payday issue and you wouldn't believe what our politicians have been up to. They're riskin' 6,000 good-payin' Ohio jobs by passin' laws that would shut um down.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Payday lenders won an argument with the Ohio Ballot Board Thursday that they couldn't win with the Legislature — that payday loans shouldn't be described using the high annual percentage rate that has come to define the industry. The panel that decides how ballot issues are worded agreed it would be misleading to tell voters that payday lenders would be able to charge rates and fees equivalent to 391 percent annually if part of a new law is repealed.

Did the spam filter get more touchy? I was posting a story about Ohio PDL bill and the article said apple-to-apple and that was a bad word. Maybe not it allowed me to post it in here. It was saying apple.com was a bad word and I had no reference to apple.com in the article.

1. Loan company: Cashnet USA 2. Loan amount $225.00 3. Already made payments on this (the loan is rather old, 2 years, and my bank account has since closed. I don't know if I have this information readily available). 4. Took out the loan in PA, but now residing in CT. So I get a call from "Janet" at Tyler & Morgan about a payday loan from CashnetUSA that I took out several years ago. I made payments bi-weekly to certainly cover the the loan amount, but there's they always say that payments I was making were simply the "interest" on the loan.

One good thing about this article is the pro pdl's do not have enough valid names yet. Shall Section 3 of H.B. 545 be approved? If you know the answer, congratulations, you're ready to vote in November to determine the fate of payday-lending interest rates in Ohio. Confused? Don't worry.

Anyone heard of Geneva Roth Ventures. Any help would be great. BTW, I live in Florida

Hi Everyone,,,, I've been reading alot of posts here, I just happened to stumble across this site, when I was looking for information on a Geneva Roth Ventures. I have no idea who this company is, but they have managed to clean out my bank account 2 times. The first time , I opened a new account, but in some way they seemed to find my new account info. After weeks of dealing with the bank and the authorities, I actually have my money back, but this company, whoever they may be, has destroyed my trust I have in putting money into any bank account.

Ran across this from the ACA in regards to DV's in response to a consumer discovering a tradeline on their reports. http://www.acainternational.org/images/209/consumerversionvalidationrightsfdcpafcra.pdf Their stance is that any DV not in response to a dunning letter is not binding and therefore, does not require any response.

Hello, I have a $8000 student loan that was done with Sallie Mae that since has been in default for a couple years now... Recently I got a letter in the mail from NCO Financial that they would be starting the process of collection of the defaulted loan by Treasury offset in 65 days if I do nothing. I really want to take care of this but I know I can't make the payments they'd want.
