I do not see this ranking giving me names of other people, except for this guy mobile endorsing the same **** sorry companies, what is going on here? I just wanted all of you to know that after reading many, many posts on this forum, I have successfully settled a credit card debt with GE MoneyBank for $750. The balance had been $2365. I have not paid anything since March. I originally offered $850 in April. They did not even respond. On my next offer I dropped it to $650. For months they would not budge past $1050. Tonight I was able to get them down to $750 and decided it was time. I think the key to this settlement business, is staying calm on the phone and saying as little as possible.

hello.. i live in iowa first of all... i have two pdls.. one called DJR group and CMG group which got my info and deposited 300.00 each... I have since repaid them the principal through the finance fees plus... since pdls are illegal in iowa what trouble will i have stoping them... also OSL marketing is customer service for both.. odd??

Hi there... I am writing this for a friend of mine. She accidently switched checks when she was paying her bills. The small check that was suppose to go to the CA was accidently sent to another bill that is bigger. and the bigger payment was accidently sent to the CA. Follow me? LOl It's kind of hard to explain... So, the CA receives this BIG payment, and it's addressed to a completely different company has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with them. CA is for medical, this payment was for a whole different field...

I've started two other threads on this site: "Online PDLs" and "Need PDL advice in WI" but the responses seemed to have hit a lull. That is OK with me, I know everyone has their hands full with all the PDL chaos going on. I've only been dealing with this for ~2 weeks after my wife and I decided to give our marriage another try. I fully understand what everyone here is going through. All the researching I've done trying to formulate a plan has kept me up way too late at night for me to function 100% at work.

I was just reading a post about our laws in Louisiana...It stated that for a lender to be legal, they had to have a physical address in our state to be able to have a license in our state. SO, if my lenders, aren't on that list, they are not legal in my state. Which means, my contracts aren't binding. So here is my question...If I have already paid them back at least what I have borrowed (which I had done on all 6 of them)..do I owe them still???

Just wanted to let you know that Citibank is working with me on a hardship program. I was able to set my payment for about half of what I was paying and lower the interest rate to 8% for the next six months. After that, the terms revert to the current ones. That's fine. It buys me some time. They also said that once the six months are up, if I have at least 2 ontime payments, we can talk about lowering the interest rate on the balance.
