Does anyone have a current e-mail address for CPD?? I believe I saw that William Reed is the contact person there. I have called and faxed the appropriate letter of revocation but no reply from them.

Can someone give me some input on which credit counseling company to use? I have read here on this site about t and c, auriton and then there is this one on this site! I only want help with this one payday loan. I am worried they are going to take me to court! thanks everyone

In my opinion, hardly anything can be accomplished with a debt collector by mail. They just are not geared to negotiate by mail and 99% will simply refuse. I know that lots of posters on this forum repeat the mantra "STAY OFF THE PHONE - NEVER TALK TO A DEBT COLLECTOR". I agree with that for the most part especially if they catch you off guard. The reality is though, in order to negotiate a settlement, the phone is an excellent tool. Now, in fairness, collectors are trained to talk on the phone -- you are not. But, this is not brain surgery.

I live in Alabama, after receiving 4 payday loans from various companies ameriloan, US Fast Cash, Payday-Loan-Yes, and Star Advance. I noticed a debit from some other company for $75.00. My bank has been investigating the matter. I have already informed the payday loan companies in writing not to debit any money from my account because of this issue. Please advise me if there is any legal recourse action I can take I feel they are responsible for my information being misused by other parties they are in partnerships or affliation with.

i borrowed money from hsbc bank like for example in qatar,is there a possibilty to pay continuesly if im outside of this contry?..also,is they have a penalty or imprisonment if im not pay while im out of the contry in qatar?..
