Hi All... Does anyone know if these two places are one in the same? I haven't heard anything from them. Until last Friday I got an email from CPD. Then today I got one that actually listed customerservice@mycashnow. They were threatening to take legal action ("where you would have to appear in court") if I don't pay 1400 dollars in seven days. And, I've paid over 700 dollars more than what I borrowed already. Advice? Anyone else get this notice from them? Is it a scare tactic?

In April of this year I needed a PDL, After applying for it, I decided not to do it. Several days later i had a deposit in my account for 400 dollars. the bank told me that Geneva Roth did the deposit. I didn apply for a loan with geneva roth. I needed the money so I used it and fully intended on paying it back, however they debited my account before my payday causing me to lose what little i had in there an a NSF fee. They kept doing that and I had to close my account. Now they want me to pay more than what should be owed on the 400 loan. Any advice?

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to see court cases in Franklin County Ohio? How can I do that? I'm thinking if National is not bluffing then there should be some of cases listed wouldn't you think? Thanks Reny

I have no debt, but they keep calling anyways. I file complaints with the do-not-call-registry. What can I do to stop them?

Regarding the HELOC i have 150k on. I remember reading somewhere that some companies instead of foreclosing on the house are writing off the HELOC, and instead just putting the balance of the HELOC on the house as a lien when you sell it. So basically when I sell the house, they'd take 150k from what I get. Is this true? Thanks.

I have store front payday loans in Ohio. I also have two internet pay day loans. I can not afford to keep paying them as my husbands overtime has been cut at work. I have talked to the pdl assistance people and am considering doing their program. But they can not help me with the storefront loans in ohio because ohio prosecutes. Does anyone have advice on what to do about those ones. Also is it illegal to close your bank account?

I currently have 6 payday loans totalling $1900. I have closed the bank acct they debit from and tomorrow will be the first day they wont get their payment. What can I do to get them out of my life? Can they take me to jail for not paying?

I have a debt from capital one that is a little less that 1000 dollars that was charged off a couple years ago. The account is not showing as being sold on my report so I assume they still own it. This account is 2 years overdue and I am concerned about it hurting my allready abtetred credit score if I pay it off. Has anyone had any success in getting capital one to remove negative entries from credit report after paying the full amount owed on a chrage off?

Hi all... I joined up with this forum immediately after reading some of the posts and seeing the dedication and knowledge of the Forum Mods. I'm just finally fed up with drowning in these debts. I have some loans with PDL / "Finance" companies in Texas. In total, they can all be knocked out with about 4,500 dollars, which I don't have. I don't think i can get a debt consolidation loan and I dont know what to do. I currently have loans with World Finance, Toledo Finance, City Finance and Austin Finance.
