Havent heard from Sif (Suprise) but that means the remaining 2 items he was working on are not getting attention either. One was charged off and the other appears to have been sold to a CA. 7 weeks ago he told me that he had a settlement offer for the Charged off item. I was ready to move on it but never allowed him to have any money controls so i was waiting for the letter from the creditor which never came. What should I do?

Because I have no income I went to a legal aid service. She advised me not to respond...and that filing for bankruptcy would be the thing to do. The most valuable thing I own is a '96 Toyota (that needs repairs) So getting a default judgement won't be a problem (for now, being unemployed) So I'm filing! and wow look at all that paper work...

So I've been researching a company called a2bcash.com. I borrowed $200 from them and their finance charge is $48 which is taken out of my account weekly. I recently discovered they are not licensed in my state of IL and emailed them to say that once the $200+finance fee has been paid through the weekly deductions, I will be revoking any and all ACH rights to them.

My husband received a letter from Avantis Financial from the "Office of the President" informing him that they had contacted his employer asking to invoke a voluntary wage assignment for him. It said that the employer refused and demanded a court order for garnishment. The letter went on to say that they would be filing suit and them would forward the paperwork to his employer. I have my doubts as to whether they've actually contacted his employer but even more doubts that they will file any lawsuit because I don't believe they are licensed in Ohio where we live.

I'm new and was very hesitant to sign up for this site, but I know it's something that needed to be done. My husband and I have some debt. Some good, some bad. They're pretty equal in the good versus bad debt department. I'm very interested in getting the collection agencies (whom I've never spoken to, even though they've all attached my name to debt that was previously solely in my husbands name) off our back. They're almost like a black cloud over me... Basically, I'm wondering what kind of debt solution is right for me. We have four collections accounts, all with different agencies.

I don't know what to do. I sent for debt validation and the Attorney for the creditor (they represent Capital one) sent me back what looks like a court document but it has NO COURT FILE NO and it is called Plaintiff's first set of Interlocking discovery. They want me to fill out all the Interrogatories and send it back to them. They sent me in this packet exhibits which include signatures and payments I had made on this account. But there is no court file numbers, but it looks official. I don't know what to do..

Hi! I am from Oklahoma and I borrowed 5 loans all from the internet. I have been paying on all of them since May and still owe more than I borrowed. I borrowed from Cold Cash today: $500.00 (I now owe $520); Fast Money 911: $500 ( I now owe $455); Think Cash: $1,000 ( I now owe $965.91); PD Service: $500 ( I now owe $500); and M1Y Direct: $260 ( I owe $260). I would appreciate any information on how I can clear these loans. I spoke to PDL assistance on Friday. I already closed my bank account and somehow found this forum. I haven't signed with PDL just spoken with them.

Hi, i'm thinking abt doing the settlement myself and not sure whom to contact. Actually i have enrolled in the settlement program but I think I might be scammed after I read the review from this forum recently. I have paid my retainer fee and never hear anything since then. Do i have to contact cust service? and what to say? My creditors are Boa, Amex and Wamu. Have anyone deal with them directly?? Thanks !!
