Hello all: Well, I am happy to say after sending the C&D letter to Sonic and explaining how my extension payments (here in Ohio) should be applied to my principal balance---they AGREED! They deducted the amount of my extension payments and only charged me the bank charge of $20 AND are allowing me to make monthly payments with a money order. With zip19 (aka Northwest...), they are still not providing me with a U.S. address just the Malta one. I did call their e-care centers and spoke to a nice rep. I asked him to provide me in writing were to send the legal amount owed.

OK TRIED TO TALK TO THE SWIFT CASH AND THEY WHERE JUST NASTY TO ME..THEY WANT ALL THERE MONEY. THE GIRL I TALKED WITH SAID IF DON'T PAY WILL BE TURNED OVER TO ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AS THEFT BY CHECK..THE OTHER CO. A-Z SAYS MY ACCT FILE HAS GONE TO THERE CORP. OFFICE AND THERE IS NOTHING MORE THEY CAN DO FOR ME, AND THAT THEY WILL FILE WITH THE D.A. I'M SCARED NOW..DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO???????? I'M SO SCARED I CAN'T EVEN WORK CORRECTLY ON MY JOB!!! ANYMORE ADVICE..SHOULD I SIT ON THIS UNTIL I RECEIVE LETTERS IF I EVEN DO???

i have spoke to many attorneys and judges. they have all said the only debt you can go to jail for not paying is child support. so payday loans can go to HELL. sorry for the language but it makes me mad when these PDL idiots say you are going to jail. JUST REMEMBER CHILD SUPPORT IS THE ONLY DEBT THAT IF YOU DONT PAY YOU GO TO JAIL.

Is anyone else getting harrassing calls from a Derrick Adams? I have not spoken to him personally and do not plan to. He has called my cell twice today and my work phone yesterday.

I have $7,400.oo in debt to US Bank on a visa. Also $3,570.00 to Washinton Mutual. Us bank 's apr is 9.9 fixxed and washinton mutuals's is 22% variable. Im looking for a settlement to a lesser amount of my debt with a consolodator. Any suggestions, as I literally only have 400 extra to my name and won't work till end of august due to seasonal employment. I am currentlt current on both cards, but not for long.

I have gotten into a payday loan mess. I have 9 payday loans. I am very thankful that I found this site. I have contacted the Department of regulations for the state of MD and they have been a great help. However, I do need more information on Zip 19. They sent me a letter after I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau that they are legal in Canada and have nothing to do with the MD state laws. I spoke with the Attorney Generals office about this and they stated that they (PDLs) always say that.

I spent all last night reading different posts on this site, I am glad I found this site. I had a $250 loan from NLS and they took out 4 payments of $76.00 and one payment of $125.00. When I called them they told me I still had a payment of $76.00 and $202.00 coming out on my next payday and I asked them for a contract and they then e-mailed it to me. I then e-mailed back the address they sent me the contract from and said my contract said that I would be paying back $325 which I overpaid already, and how could anyone see the information in their fine print that says otherwise.

Can I ask a bank to remove a dept that has been paid?

I sent an email to Check N'Go (installment loan) on Monday revoking authorization to debit our account any longer and offering to make payments via money order. They responded that they can't honor my request and payment would still be due (tomorrow). We have a car payment, electric bill, childcare, etc.. that HAS to be paid before this loan. I'm going to my bank today and I don't want to look stupid. Do I just ask for a hard debit block and explain to them what is going on? Also, my hubby's direct deposit will go through tonight and we need that money.

I have sent out 10 ACH Revokes and so far I have 2 PIFs (Impact Cash and Upfront Cash) and several "please call us" letters which I am pondering on whether I should call them or not since I clearly asked for documentation of what I have paid and whether or not they are licensed in the State of Indiana. I did not request a phone call...LOL Anyhow, MyPaydayloan.com has sent me text messages, called 4 times now and sent me collection emails.
