Is there any document or correspondence that specifically mentions INTERNET lenders for oklahoma and licensing requirements? I know that lenders in OK have to be licensed with the state, but need something referencing internet loan providers. I'm dealing with a collection agency for Cashsupply (aka The parasitic bloodsuckers), who have taken 730.00 on a 250.00 loan and have now sent me to collections to pay for the aforementioned principle on the loan.....again. grrrrr I plan on innundating them with paper including the letter I sent to cash supply that demanded a refund of my overpayment.

Can anyone tell me how I check to see if a company is illegal? I have 8 loans Midland ameriloan NHC NLS CMG Group SSM Group United Cash Loan I originally took out $300 with one company and $200 with another. I ended up with 4 deposits of $300 in my account. I have been paying anywhere from $450 to $540 every 2 weeks for the past month just in finance charges and paydowns. They are killing me financially! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Ok, I have been previewing this site for a couple of months now and have implemented many of the suggestions. Now I need some more specific help related to my PDL loans. I enrolled with PDL Assistance about a month ago; however, I realized I may still pay too much back on them in their program when you include their fees. I have already closed my checking account and have opened a new account at another bank. My PDL's are all internet and looking at previous post all but one is registered in California.

I received notification by local municipal court that CashLand is suing me for balance due. I defaulted and have paid half of what's owed ($380 pd), but ran into difficulty repaying when my husband was laid off. I'm not sure what to do. I really do not want this to go forward. Any suggestions; advice?

I was wondering if you could help me draft a letter for a collection agency? I had a PDL with a company but they were taking money out of my account under various names so I closed my checking. I filed a BBB complaint against both the collection agency and the original creditor. The collection agency said they would no longer contact me if they didnt hear from the original creditor which it has been almost 45 days now.

I’m in Ohio and some of the PDLs are licensed here. What is the best way to handle them? If I put a hard ACH block on my bank account to stop the illegal ones then the licensed ones will get blocked as well. Do I contact them and setup payment arrangements? Will they even be willing to do that? I am going to have to do something soon and I am just trying to sort out my options on what I can do and what to expect..

Need your help on this topic... I have an installment loan thru a storefront here in Illinois. It has defaulted and gone to their "in-house" collections. My question is this...are they breaking any laws by doing the following... 1. I was late (2 hours) in getting to the store to make payment (prior to default) and they called my landlord (reference). 2. They sent the wage assignment to my employer without following due process (they must send me a copy of intent via certified mail). I received nothing. 3.

does anyone know what is the stoy with aaa fast cash/or a1a fast cash? they are located in delaware but have not heard anything from them regarding my loan repayment. not sure if i want to open a can of worms if i don't have to eventually i will pay them it just can not be at the moment.
