Check this out. Credit Solutions of America has the worst reputation in the debt settlement industry and have over 1400 complaints with the BBB. Guess what ? Now they are getting sued . Its about time these scum bags get whats coming to them.
I don't understand why they do. For example, e-payday loan is illegal/unlicensed which technically means if they borrow anyone money, the borrower could not pay them back and they'd have no legal means to collect the money from what I've read. If i was a lender i'd do my damnedest to be a legal/licensed company.
I have an appointment with a BK attorney tomorrow, and a little while ago I received a reminder phone call from the receptionist. When she told me her name, I was completely speechless, since I recognized her name as someone from my church! I hung up the phone and was thinking that maybe it was someone else with the same name.
I have been in the PDL trap for about 8 months now, and it's come to a point where I need to end it or risk losing a lot more than some money to fees.
I have PDLs outstanding with two companies, one of which is Cash Transfer Centers (as most of you know: a/k/a Northway Financial Corporation, etc.). I have done extensive research on the laws in my state with regard to PDLs.

I am being sued by collection agency. I plan to file an answer with the courts in 3 wks, but for right now can I send request validation of the debt? Is this allowed? Who do I request a validation from? The actual collection agency or the lawyer that is representing them?
Thank you.
