I am not a very assertive person and honestly don't think I have the fortitude to deal with the PDL's and their strong arm tactics. My question is does anyone have experience delaying their starting their pay back program with T & C for a couple of weeks. My pay day is the 3rd of July and I am scheduled to go on a long planned family trip. If I pay T&C, then I will have nothing for this trip

I am in the process of filing Chapter 7. We are going to reaffirm one car and give up the other when we file. Has anyone gone through this? Did you drop it off at the dealership or was it repo'd? The attorney tells me they will come and pick it up. I rather not have a flatbed come here and pick it up unexpectedly in the middle of the night! Losing the car is bad enough. Anyone have any experience with this?

I know better than to get these loans, but we had an immediate need and it seemed like the easiest way to get the money we needed. I can never come up with the full amount to pay them all back at once so it just keeps going, and I am stressing out when I think of the interst I have paid. June 23rd - Called B of A customer service line and told them that I wanted to put a debit hold on my account for all transactions as I had given my account information on line. They told me that because my account was negative that they could not do that, which makes no sense and obviously put in place to continue to have accounts generate more overdrafts. The girl I spoke to told me the best that she could do is put stop payments on them.

Can an original creditor show a charge off and paid settlement/collection at the same time?

My wife and I will have soon have a judgment against us in AZ. Neither of us have wages that can be garnished. Most of our property is exempt, and what is not has limited garage sale value (no HD flat screens, jet ski etc.). I have gone over the statutes regarding exempt property, and I am a bit confused. Reading the statutes, I understand that while my kitchen appliances are exempt, they may take my kitchen ware? And, will the constable just go away if we don't answer the door?

how long does adverse info stay on your credit report? 7 years from what date?

After you file for chapter 7, what happens to the accounts on your credit report? If a debt collector is listed, does the balance get removed? I was wondering because once bankruptcy goes thru, does the debt collector have to stop updating the entry? what happens if they continue to update the balance due and such?
