can i get pdl collections off credit report

Ok Capital Recovery Associates calls and calls, and the late time they said they would send my account tio an attorney in my area. They are in Niagra Falls New York and I am in Kansas. They are now calling regarding a pending civil suit, that I NEVER EVER got any paper work inthe mail about. They never sent anything in the mail but claim they have. THEY TALKED TO MY HUSBAND ABOUT MY CASE AND TOLD HIM WHAT I OWED AND MORE, and he already knows but is not not illegal.

I just got off the phone with a very nice man in the Banking Division of the Iowa Attorney General's Office and am jumping for joy. I've been dealing with these annoying online payday loans since last October... I'm done. I've paid back my principle (and then some) and according to this very nice man, I'm done. There are NO licensed internet payday loan companies in Iowa. He told me that he wouldn't say not to worry about it because they are going to start harrassing me, but since they're not licensed here, they can threaten all they want but CANNOT take any legal recourse.

I received a fax from the office of Patrick Corbett at my job in which one of my coworkers left for me on my desk. But my question is isn't that a violation to send a fax in the open with all of my information on it? I don't know what the debt is for. I am sure it is a payday loan. I am just beginning to research this debt settlement dealings and see that a person would be setting an amount aside monthly into an account. Is this the current amount you pay out now, or is it reduced? Do I assume you stop making payments via the minimum to your CCard companies and instead deposit it into an account with the belief the the Debt Settle company is going to help fix things for you?

Okay, my husband received a loan from Cash Call April 2006. He defaulted, he used to get letters and once a man came to our home (I didn't open the door)but he left a letter on our door from cash call- that was scary! I never open the door unless I have a pretty good idea who it is, I told him my hubby was not home and he knocked hard for like 2 minutes and then he finally left. That was maybe May or June of last year.

Hi All! Quick question: NCO has made a credit inquire on my credit report twice (06 and 07). It means that they have received my CR and their names remain in my report for 2 years. I want NCO to remove the entry from my report. Can you advise? How do I handle this one without raising the red flag? I didn't like the sample letter I read from your site. Thanks! L
