The Law states in one section that the CA must advise the person that they have 30 days to request validation. In another section it states that collection activity must stop all collection activity until validation is provided. It does not say anything about validation request after 30 days. So where does the opinion come from that states that validation after 30 days does not require the same stopping of collection activity originate?

Well I talked to T & C today, they got all my paperwork and my payment. They mailed proposals out today and mailed a payment to Cash Call. Cash Call has offered me a "lower" payment if I have it in by the end of the month, so T & C mailed it out today, I pray it makes it in time...my main issue is going to be one of the storefronts I have...Of course they want full payment, but that's not going to happen, however here in our county we have a "check mediation" program, which this company participates in,(at least before the new law past they did)...so hopefully I can work out something...Reny

I have finally decided to declare chapter 7. Instead of spending time trying to fight and DV debt collectors. I have almost no income, only $300 a month from disability, no assets and about 10 unsecured debts, including a judgment. I had 15 others but they are payed off, closed and in good standing. My total debts are about $10,000 My question is, am I able to get free help with this? I can't afford an attorney obviously and I can't pay the 3 credit cards I have now, all under $400.

Has anyone ever heard about or worked with Federal debt relief, they called me a few time and left messages saying they could legally help me to get rid of my debt.

Is there an actual experian phone number live person for Experian to speak with a live person??? Not the automated system ... I am having the most frustrating time!! I get my credit report daily from truecredit ... there are 2 items ONLY on my experian report that are not mine. I have talked to the creditor listed and have letters dismissing me from reposibility for the items. I tried doing an online dispute with experian, they said I don't have a "report #" so I can't file a dispute unless I order a report through them.

Hess Kennedy again was on TV for scamming another consumer check it out. It shows Hess Kennedy COO. Hess Kennedy has changed their name to the Consumer Law Center. Maybe this guy is Jeff Campos.
