Do you have to include all credit cards? Can you include a car loan that has a very high interest rate?

Hi there, I'm asking this question on behalf of my boyfriend, as he has a big debt problem and sees no way out. Ok, he owes roughly $30,000, mostly to the US Dept. of Education because of outstanding student loans. I've heard that debt settlement plans don't work with student loans, but since that seems like the best option for him, we were wondering what else he could do if that isn't an option for him. Please advise.

Hi Community, Stopped the payments, sent c/d letters, contacted the BBB, and FTC. What really are my legal rights since I do have a contract with these internet companies who claim they are not illegal. I live in Michigan and I really do not understand the laws. I need more clarification. The contact states I am under a contract agreement in the state from which the loan was originated. I am sooooooooo confused. I am not sure what to say, what to write.

I owe Advance 575, paid 0 Cashland, 689, paid 125 Checksmart, 460, paid 0 First National 743, paid 143 Quick Cash USA 517, paid 0 Purpose Money689, paid 0 Ace, 689, paid 172.50 If anyone could help it would be most appreciated. A man stole our cooperate credit card with a building supply company. They say we are liable for the debt since it was a company card. Is that true?

First of all, thank you to all of you for your help. Just last week I closed my bank account (which was scary) and now the PDL's are starting to contact me. My first dealing with ameriloan was extrememly painless. They called me and I told them I would need to call them back at a more convenient time (which was fine with them). I called them this morning and told them that I recently found out that my loan was illegal and I needed to make payment arrangements. At first they wanted me to pay $720 on a balance due of $450.

how to get help to pay off payday loans

I was involved in an automobile accident back in May 2006. I was T-boned by a 22 year old guy and broke my left elbow. I've been working with my attorney to get a settlement (no word yet) I checked my credit report the other day and the hospital bill in on my report. but apparently not. Thank god I saved every letter I ever got from DFI. Got two companies deleted off my credit reports. but two are being stuborn. Time to get my lawyer involved with that one. I must've been in lala land, and didn't read my mail and found out my old bank reported me to check systems. I found WI laws, however, I thought I found somewhere that they can only debit the account twice? They tried debiting my account several times if I remember correctly. I tried working with my old bank at the time it happened, but they didn't want to hear me.
