Hi, i currently have 6 storefront pdl's out, i had to get them because my boyfriend was being garnished for child support (even though his kid lives with us...long story) and we couldn't afford our 1150 rent. Thinking we would be able to pay it back with the tax return (didn't get that either...went to the CSD) i am now down 3400. I couldn't afford the 300 every 2 weeks it was costing me to keep them going so i let them bounce and tried to make payment arrangements.

I am in a debt settlement program since January, which appears to be going along relatively smoothly. However, I have one persistent, offensive debt collector from Phillips & Cohen that informed me that since they are (trying to) collect on a business credit card, that the cease and desist letters don't apply, and that they can call anyone in my family, neighbors, etc, as many times as they want (instead of the one time allowed by law) because this is a business account and not a regular consumer account. Is this true, or not? Because if not, I want to stick it to this guy.

I live in Kentucky and I have found out that all internet PDL are illegal in KY, so therefore I need to know where to go next, if this is true. These are a few of the places that I have loans with... Tremount Financial-300. Little Loan Shop-200. Loan Point USA-300. PayCheckToday-300. Internet Funding Co./AmeriLoan-300. My Cash Now-650. CMG?-300. Impact Cash USA-300. ACC?-300. I have well paid these back to the companies and then some!!! If any can give me advice it will be greatly appreciated!!! I am so embarassed and ashamed...

Hello, I don't know if I will get any responses, but I guess I will try anything. I am going to be low on bills this month. Luckily, I was able to settle a credit card debt, which is great =) but I am going to be short on other bills. This really has nothing to do with the other, it's more because I lost my second job. Anyway, in order to pay everything I need about $338 in the next two and a half weeks. It would be best for me to have more for food, gas money, etc. I already borrowed all I could,which is how I got this amount up to what it is. Does anyone have any ideas at all for me?

Hi I need help quick! I have a loan coming due on Friday and the money is not in the bank. I was told by a company I was thinking about using to help me (until I checked BBB) the first thing I should do is close my bank account. Is this right?

I live in Pennsylvania. I made the HUGE mistake of taking out several payday loans on which I have paid hundreds of dollars in extension fees. My checking account became over drafted too many times so my bank put a hold on my checking account so I could not use my debit card for 30 days. That hold also prevented these payday loan companies from getting their weekly payments. I am now starting to get threatening emails from these companies. Today I got a email letter from Tremont Financial which states they reported me to SCAN; a check writing company.

I saw my Credit Report that I have a debt with your company how do I fide out the details?

I have a lot of credit card debts, but one of them filed a lawsuit. I am waiting for the court date. Can bankruptcy stop the lawsuit even after a summons was issued?

I am having a problem with midland funding. I received a civil summons with morgan and pottinger out of louisville. they are taking over accounts for midland funding. midland funding had bought out providian/mutual who bought out presidio/cm who bought out providian-anyway I paid the account when it was providian mutual.
