I have seen various debt settlement courses/kits/programs that supposedly teach you all the "must-know" information about how to do debt settlement on your own. Does anyone have any experience with (using, not selling) any of them? Do they contain any information that I can't get here or elsewhere on the internet? I am, of course, skeptical of anything that claims to sell me "secrets" that I "must know" in order to be successful.

I have been involved in long term litigation.I ended up owing 125,000 to creditors. Although I have made 65,000 in payments to the trustee my 13 bankruptcy has yet to be approved by the court.I can no longer make my payments. My question is what happens to the money that has yet to be dispursed

My boyfriend was informed by his work that they received a 'wage garnishment' request in regards to his back child support. After speaking a little more with my boyfriend, I find out that his debt owed was turned over to a collections agency and the request is from the collection agency.

When my business failed last year, I was left with about $100,000 debt and no income. I have been trying to settle with the cc companies by myself. So far, I have settled around half of it at 25%. Target bank has served me with a summons, though. Is there somewhere I can go to find out how to respond to this without having to get a lawyer.

This company has contacted me several times within the last 6 months claiming I owe this company $1800. However, they will not give me the name of the actual company that I owe this money to. They also contacted me at work stating they were going to have someone come to my work and arrest me. I was contacted just today from a gentleman who stated that I was to report to the county courthouse by 11 a.m. He also stated my social security number has been frozen.

Has anyone heard of Credit Card Zappers? They are supposed to remove different fees, like late, overlimit, interest, etc...
