Does LVNV Funding have any parent corporations? According to RULE 1:21. Corporate Disclosure Statement on Possible Judicial Conflict of Interest. (a) Who Must File. In civil and criminal cases in the Trial Court and appellate courts, any nongovernmental corporate party to a proceeding must file a statement identifying all its parent corporations and listing any publicly held corporation that owns 10% or more of the party's stock or stating that there is no such corporation.

How do I select which type of debt management to use in order to handle large, delinquent debt? Ever further, how do I select a firm to put a program into motion?

Just a quick question, how can I tell if whoever is calling me is someone working for the original creditor or is the new owner of the debt? Is there an obligation for them to tell me if I ask?

Ok, Here's my tale of woe... Back in the day I had a lame boyfriend who didn't work. I ended up paying the rent three times on my Chase credit card before I dumped him and moved out of state. I didn't get a job or find a decent situation for quite some time and it went into collection and what not. Somehow a $2000 credit limit turned into a $3800 dollar bill. So now apparently an attorneys office has it. They told me I had to make 3 payments of 1200 immediately or they'd sue.

 

So I was deleting some Russian spam...

Logged in this morning, and checked the report-a-spam thread first thing, like always. Found that MarkOfKane had reported some Russian spam in one of the threads, so I headed over to take care of it. This is what was there: Quote:

I had a missed call from a number on my phone, and they did not leave a msg, then the other day, it happened again, i answered and they said asked for me, i said who\'s calling, and they said my name is patrick and i\'m with united lending corp. i said what is this about, and then the call was disconnected or something, so i waited to c if they called me back right away and they did not, so when i tried dialing their number back, it just goes to a vcml box, does not say what it is about, or who the company is. Now yesterday i had 3mor 4 missed calls from them, no msgs.

Hi, in California it says they are legal, but the terms that I have appear to be illegal. I have written letters to that effect. Will that be OK? I closed my bank account and am sending out my C&D letters tomorrow, but just wanted to double check. Thanks so much!
