Please Help! I originally took out a payday loan with epayday loan for 300.00. I made 3 payements in which I was told was interest only. I live in MN and I closed my checking account to default since they wouldn't do payment arrangements. In April I started to get letters from Vincent P. Cignarale Law Office. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I also requested a debt validation letter. Today I got the debt validation letter from Vincent P Cignarelle. The only information on it was that they purchased the account from a different collection agency Unistates Credit Agency in New York.

I rec'd a message on my home phone from a lady at Vandenberg Chase & Associates saying she needs to talk to me re: a pending lawsuit against me. I googled their number and found out this place is a scam. They threaten people with "lawsuits" and tell them they need to pay otherwise a warrant for their arrest will be issued. Apparently this company purchases oold debts from other CA's and they try to threaten people into paying them. I know for a FACT that all of my collections have been paid, so there is no way I could owe them.

Hi everyone, I was recently contacted by that wonderful company portfolio recovery associates. They are collecting on a Washington Mutual Account. Their balance is about $1400 more than my last balance.

The debt collector in different state can serve me? If so, which state? theirs or mine? Thank you.

Anyone has heard of Rancho Credit Management in Encinitas, CA? I have received a letter that I owe quite large amount to them, with original creditor indicated. I straight to Better Business Bureau site, but could not locate them. They even do not have website, etc. First I need a verification of this debt. Then, I need to know if this company is credible, I mean a good one to deal with.

I received a letter CC from WebPayDay to the Bureau of Consumer Protection where WebPayDay is willing to accept me paying them the balance of the principal ONLY from my loan with them. In the letter, it says I can choose installments as long as its paid by October 2008. In the letter they state they are concerned that I was disappointed with my webpayday experience and thus are agreeing to my proposal.

On 5/26/08 I stumbled across this site, I was totally depressed because I had 6 online PDL's and the payments were taking my entire paycheck. I am a single parent of 3 young children. I posted my situation and within minutes I had 17 people wanting to help me, it was a great feeling, I wasn't alone anymore.

i have a place called check administrations calling saying that a payday loan company I got a loan from is threatening to file charges of attempting to defraud them and something else. Can they do this and what kind of charges are these? Civil or criminal?

I have been submitting earnings which have been $0.00 since May 2, 2005 for a discharge of my student loan that I had gotten many years ago. How long does it take for it to get completely discharged?
