I got a phone call from a lady named Lee Ryan she was calling on behalf of A.S & Associates, she was telling me that I need to pay $560.00 for a payday loan(which I thought was paid off) she then stated if i dont pay that criminal charges will be filled against me she also stated I was going to be charged with internet fraud because I got a loan with no intention of paying it back. I told her that, that was not true I thought that the loan was paid back already and i closed my bank account the following month! What can I do? I never received any notices or calls from the payday loan company...

all three credit reports are reporting that I owe $226.00 to your company This is not my account. Account in question account info deleted - Jason please email me back with any information that will help clear this up

So back in 2006 I had a pdl and it was almost paid off when i closed my checking account...I only owe them $65 bucks now but they are requesting the full amount of $200 bucks...So what should I do....

Okay, first a preamble: I work for a major cell phone company, in a big call center. Our department handles billing disputes, but it also does some support for the collections department. We aren't a collections department, in fact most of our calls to customers are to say that we owe them money, but I get treated as a bill collector all the time. It's rather funny to get a suspicious treatment from somebody on the phone or somebody hanging up the moment they hear I'm from my company. .
