Well, i got another 'threat' from Cash Today Limited saying they will pursue a voluntary wage assignment. This after i filed an AG complaint, and explained to them that I'm aware of the wage assignment laws and they have no right and that i mailed them a letter revoking the wage assignment. I'm sick of dealing with these people. i've piad them 640 on a 400 dollar loan...as far as i'm concerned that's more than enough. anyway i've explained this situation to the payroll guy and he seems aware of shady things like this. Still, I want to be sure that no such wage assignment happens.

I was just threatened with criminal charges against me for check fraud. Can the Money Store do that?

I am on disability and have been on for 5 years :cry: . I was diagnosed with MS since 2003 and in 2005 I had an exhaerbation (sp?) and went on disability in 2005 :cry: . It was at that time that I switched my medication to Rebif which has helped me tremendously with this disease and as of the last MRI last year there is no active lesions being present on my brain and I feel back to normal :lol: . I would like to go back to work full-time with what I enjoyed which was in the corrections field.

I apologize if this post comes up a second time. I tried to add a reply to another post but I do not see it showing up anywhere?? Anyway, I am panicky right now even though I am trying not to be based on what I have read here but it is still hard.

I wrote my state Financial Information Advisory this: Hello, I'm trying to find out if an internet bases payday loan company with no physical presence in Virginia needs to be licensed to lend by Virginia. If they don't need to be licensed by Virginia, would they still need to follow Virginia's payday loan laws, or would they need to follow the laws of the state in which they are licensed? Also I have found out several payday lenders I have investigated are completely unlicensed and out of country lenders how shall I proceed? Thanks!

Can we start a forum or a topic that has to do with grocery budgeting? Or is there one out there? I have just started the coupon thing and I love saving money with them. I would like to know if anyone else has any suggestions out there on how to deal with the rising cost of groceries.

Does it work? A guy at my husband's job said he and his wife have been doing his program and were living paycheck to paycheck. Now in the past year they have cleared out almost 50K in debt. That just almost seems impossible after living pay to pay....so how can that be? I am a skeptic.
