Can we put pictures in our signatures? I found an awesome one so I was just wondering.

I am in Kansas. I had a loan that went to collections and it is now dinging my credit report. I wasn't sure if that was legal or not. Thanks!

I am new to this PDL forum. I signed up to work with PDL assistance and paid them $200, which is non-refundable. I am now not very impressed with them. Every time I call I have to hold for like 15 minutes to speak to any one. I have been told by PDL Asst. to have all my lenders call them. My lenders are saying they cannot get thru to anyone with PDL Asst., & I know for a fact that they are having trouble getting thru to them. I have now settled with two of my lenders b/c they will not deal with PDL Asst.

As the title states, what happens to the debt when it comes to the person that did not file BK? How does that work? Does the debt continue on for that person like nothing happened, or is there something else that takes place? Thanks in advance

Ok, so you know I'm signing with T & C on Friday. So cash call has been calling, but only about once a day. So yesterday I faxed them a letter explaining my intention and revoking the EFT. Today they called, I called them back.

I know I can sue under the fdcpa. I live in Massachusetts and can also sue under chapter 93A Section 2. (a) Unfair methods of competition and unfair or deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of any trade or commerce are hereby declared unlawful. I can also sue under 209 CMR 18.00 and the FDCPA together right? that is the debt collection laws for my state. Another question is that my state laws say they mirror the FDCPA, but I can't find anything saying how much the violations are.

Can someone explain to me how this works? I know that because I have stopped paying on some loans - they have put my name in with them. Does it apply to any/all checking accounts I have in my name? Or just the one they report? I closed the old one and opened a new...will it affect my new checking account? And how long do these things stay on that report?

I am getting ready to go on the 18th to a hearing to dismiss the lawsuit against me because of lack of prosecution. According to the clerk's office, no one has shown any evidence in over a year (See my previous posts) and the clerk wants to dismiss. Now the attorney is "begging" not to dismiss because according to them, we have failed to respond, which we did a little over a week after we got served in 2007 and have the certified receipt that they received it.

I had a $500 loan with mypaydayloan.com and paid $600 on the loan. mypaydayloan emailed today to tell me they are reporting me to SCAN so I can never write a check again. then, an hour later, I received an email from DATEX Agency saying they were collecting on behalf of mypaydayloan.com and wanted $800... I already told mypaydayloan.com I paid them and to basically go away, then their collections dept, guy or girl named Taylor keeps sending emails about reporting me and stuff... now, this collections agency has grown some....

About a month ago I posted about a problem I was having and got some great advice. I sent the DV letter asking for all the information to the "law firm" that LVNV gave the debt to. Today we get a letter that gives us nothing but the amount they say we owe. Nothing about how much interest has accrued, are they allowed to collect in our state, their license # etc. What do I do now? Thanks.
