HOW THE HELL DO YOU START A NEW THREAD??? i Hhad to take an old thread of mine and delete the info just to start this one. I tried clicking every possible button but could not find a way to start a thread. In the past I have found starting a thread difficult and not user friendly. Sure you can ASK an Expert but that is not what I want. I wanted to start a basic thread. Maybe this is why so many people hijack old threads?? Maybe this is why no one is posting?? Chalk another one up for the tech team.

Hi, Collections agencies are calling me to collect on a debt that are more 5 years old from the day that I defaulted. These are all credit card debts. What are my options , Do I qualify for the SOL? i cant afford to pay them anymore, financial income has changed thats why I defaulted on them since 2007. The total debts on all the credit card bills are aproximately less than $10,000 and they are leaving me a message stating that they will move forward for a law suit. i also had a judgement filed against me and didnt receive any summons but when my credit was checked, there it shows.

When I returned the call and asked for a copy of the loan agreement he said I would be getting it in the issuance package, and that I will be arrested and I will ge going to jail.

Is this even possible? I have read that you can control it in a Ch. 13 but after your 36-60 months are up you would be responsible to pay them yourself. Is this true? If not, what is the best thing to do if I am trying to file Chapter 13?

i am planning to retire when i get 65 but have a 67 house mortagage want it paid off before i do retire can i do this under chapter 13 payment is almost 700.00 that include land tax and home insurance too
