help I owe 7 payday advances and everytime I pay back I have to get it back cuz I can't afford not to. what to do?

....is this the same thing as a debt validation notice? if not, does anyone know where i can obtain a sample copy letter? thanks a bunch!

I was reading this article "settling your debts with original creditors." http://www.creditinfocenter.com/debt/originalcreditor_debtsettlement.shtml and I had a few questions. They were saying that the Original creditor will send the debt to a collection agency from 90-120 days overdue. I feel that a lot of the information I read around here was saying 150-180 days. or just 180 days. also, is it realistic that a creditor will talk to you about a settlement only 60 days overdue?

Does anyone know of anywhere on here that has a list of states that these PDL companies are licensed in. As a PA resident the law gets pretty confusing. I've dealt with most of mine but i still have two out there calling me that i'm not sure have any legal right (aside from the fact they can't prove i even have a loan) ... they are Cash Today Limited ameriloan

So I had an agreement in writing with them, via email, that they agreed that $the $75.00 in remaining principal would pay the account in full. They also sent a response to the Oregon Dept. of Finance and Insurance saying they agreed to setlle for $75.00. I sent the moneygram for $75.00 on Saturday, 5/17/08, as agreed. I've tried emailing Sonja about a dozen times over the last two days to get the paid in full acknowledgment she promised. No response. I finally called this morning and got some rude lady named Valerie. I explained the situation. She said we never received the payment.

I received a letter from a collection agency a few days ago stating that I owed cashadvance network 250 dollars.As far as I know I have paid these people what I had originally borrowed plus more in fees. Should I write this agency a letter demanding a debt validation letter or should I write cashadvance network directly?

Hi Everyone, I have been reading some of these posts and I have a question. I need to file bk like now. I have creditors calling me at home and work, mostly credit cards and payday loans. I am in debt about 20,000 in cc's and my name is on the mortgage. My husband has more debt than me and is making less money than me! My spouse is really being a butt about not filing bk. He's too "proud" he says! I am afraid he is going to let things get to the point that they may foreclose on our house. Can I just go ahead and file bk alone. He has 12,000 in savings in his name.
