Does anyhone have their address? They just called me at work and she went through the reason for her call and I told her that I would call her from my cell phone. I need their address to send them a letter. I looked them up on this website and found out they are a collection agency. She made it sound like she was calling from law office. They are calling for Geneva Roth, who I think is not licensed.

I've got a situation here... Got a collection letter from Hudson and Keyse in January collecting for a WaMu/Providian card, requested debt validation at that time, never heard anything then they started sending more letters. Sent another letter last month....got something in the mail yesterday from their "dispute resolution desk". This is what I was sent: - A copy of an article from Collctor Magazine from Feb 2004 an article by Matthew B.

I had an old outstanding medical bill that had gone to collection. I was paying them monthly and then after a couple years, requested a statement of account. I had never received one before, detailing my payments and balances. They did not reply. I wrote again, they did not reply. I had kept paying. After a while, I called them, they did not give me a person to speak to, only voice mail. No one called me back. I thought perhaps the debt was paid since I received no calls or correspondence whatsoever. I stopped paying. I had not heard from them in over a year.

Company/Individual reported: GFSIL Thaey are calling me repeatedly being extremely beligerent and threatening. They refuse to send me a written statement showing my account balance.

I've been noticing a lot of people seem to be fighting their loans the same, regardless of if they are legal or illegal. This could have some bad reprucusions . . . . The loans that are legal could use the court system to collect. Illegal loans could never win a judgement, unless you ignored it. When you are dealing with a legal internet company, you have a lot more channels to go through if there's a problem then with illegal companies. If you need to revoke your ACH authorization, just send them a letter. They will not continue to debit your account.

Ohio is one signature from the governor away from eliminating payday loans. A question I can't seem to get answered is, what will happen if they close and you still have a loan out? Will there be a payment plan, or will they collect all at once? We have 4 out currently totaling $575 each. What did the state of Maryland do when theirs closed? thanks! :?: :(

Okay so I have this one collection agency calling me all the time but I never answer as I have caller ID. So this morning I decided to turn the table on these people. SO this is how the conversation went ME: Hello??? THEM: Yes may I speak to **** ME:This is the Clark County Sheriff Dept, who am I speaking with? THEM: This Lasaha with Bite Me Collections ME: Well this is the Clark Cty Sheriff Dept, and this phone is an exhibit in a trial, how do you know this person and so it went on..

My Husband and I filed a joint return and our stimulus payment was offset by AAFES (army & air force exchange, a old debt my husband had before we were married..well we call aafes, and they will not give us any info, tell us to call OSI Collections, OSI tells us we only owe 640...but aafes...took the whole payment of 1500...and OSI says they can do that, there a gov agency? Now we have to wait for aafes to send us the remainder, or I can file a injured spouse claim? A big pain in the neck!!
