My finance is going is thinking about filing bankruptcy with his soon to be ex-wife. It is a long complicated story and she is being really nasty about everything (espically this bankruptcy because she said that she is going to do it with or without my finance). When we get married is this going to affect my credit at all? We are located in Wisconsin. Thanks

Hi people :( I received an "intent to sue" letter in the mail today from this CA. I just sent them a letter of verification in the mail on Saturday morning. I guess the two letter crossed in the mail. in their intent to sue letter, it informed me that the are initiating the process to sue and i can stop it if i contact them by phone or even email. What should i do? should just call them. i know i owe the debt but it is up to almost 6k with all the interest tact on to it. please help... here is to another sleepless night..........

I also live in Florida and have multiple PDL's- cashnetusa owe $583 fastmoney911 owe $520 impactcash owe $300 payco. owe $200 checkngo owe $500 also an installment loan with thinkcash owe $400+ I paid prldirect.com and cash direct. I had 2 ach debitted by smith haynes watt for $145. I think this was initiated by cashnetusa because that is the amt of my payments to them. didn't even know who smith haynes watt until googled them. please respond on how i should proceed next. After recently reviewing my credit report, I’ve noticed an account from a debt collector in California in reference to a dental bill from 2001 (I live in California). I truly wasn’t aware of this remaining balance as I had health insurance at the time. Anyway, the original amount is $80; they’re charging me $145 due to fees and interest since 2001. I’ve contact the dental office today and I agreed to pay them directly.

I have way to many payday loans. I was going to sign up with pdl assistance but after reading several threads it looks like you can do this yourself. Can someone give me some advice. They are all internet loans and I have closed my account.

Are rollovers the same as refinancing? I live in FL and I know rollovers aren't allowed, yet all three of my Internet payday loans have refinanced. PayDayOne: $500, paid $113 so far CashCentral: $300, paid $181 so far and they've told me since my payment from my closed bank account was sent back to them, I owe them another $80-something CashNetUSA: $700, paid (I think) $200-something If refinancing isn't allowed, what do I tell the companies? I've sent something through e-mail to PayDayOne and CashNetUSA, but haven't gotten anything back.

So ive started repairing my 500 credit score (shudder). The wife has pristine credit. If she were to cosign for me on a loan of say, $1000, and I were to pay it back over 6 months (repeating every 6 months for 2 years), would that be a good way to increase my score at a decent speed. Of course, I would not actually be spending the loan, I would simply put it in a seperate account and pay the bank back their own money.

OK I took out a pdl with Global Financial (GFSIL) a year ago, but got in over my head had defaulted, had to close the checking account and everything. I had been working with a debt company (which gave GFSIL a revocation of ACH and payroll deduction order when I began working with them) but for certain reasons, had to stop. They have started calling me again, at work. I have told them not to call me at work and they continue to. I asked for a statement in writing of my account and they refuse to send me one!
