Can anyone tell why when I send PMs, they often sit in my outbox for days before moving to the receiver?

I live in Maryland. My husband lost his job about 6 months ago and I resorted to PDL's to help supplement our income for rent and living expenses. I have 2 kids with one on the way and I need to get out of this...Lesson learned. I truly need help getting out of this mess I am in. I called a PDL consolidation company and they were going to charge me $200 to work with them to consolidate the internet PDL's. They said there is nothing they can do about the storefront. Before I signed up I found your forum...I hope I can get some resolutions...

I sent a DV letter out to then on April 15th and I still haven't heard anything back. Should I send out another DV letter? Thanks Reba

I sent about four different companies requests for validation on the 14th of April. It's now the 15th and i've heard nothing from any of them. obviously i'll wait a few more days for stragglers, but what then? I'm not sure what the next step is. Also, a different question... one of the places i sent a validation request to was the original creditor (Chase) I've heard nothing, but the CA bugs me... and the only validation they've given me is a sworn statement that they own the debt. Is that considered enough?

Okay...I closed my Wamu account. It is not linked with any other account and will be officially closed in one business day (tomorrow morning). There is no balance, no pending transactions - and the operator told me nothing else could post nor could it be force backed open, linked, etc. I've sent all my cease and desist letters. This is all right? I'm still incredibly nervous...is this normal? Should I do anything else on the account? I feel like calling back just to make sure....I guess I'm paranoid.

Anyone have an idea how the new law in Ohio will affect outstanding store front pdls? I have signed on with Town & Country Acceptance, and have placed 2 of my 7 loans in an EPP. But with 90 days before they close up shop, do you think they will be more or less aggressive? more or less accommodating? I would think that thousands of Ohioans will now default, as they will not be able to readvance. Will the companies make it worth their while to pursue this many customers in such short time? Any thoughts?

I am just so devastated. I know it's my fault for not paying closer attention to my checking, but I feel like the punishment is more than severe. I knew I had some bills that would clear this week, so I had a paper check from my second job and some cash ready to deposit into my checking account to cover it. I was running late on the 12th and had no time to stop at the bank to make the deposit unless I chose to be late for work. So I called in and checked my account and I had a positive balance. Okay, I should be okay till the 13th.
