When do we get to see the answers for the question of the week? If it's going to be called question of the week, it would seem like it should run on a weekly basis. A lot of members have been asking me when they will find out who won. Anybody know what is going on with this? If there wasn't the staff power to support a contest like this, why did it start in the first place?

Hello All, Another question. I am dealing with NCO right now. As some of you may know the FTC filed a huge lawsuit in the amount of 1.5 mil against them in 04? guess what. my account with them is right in that time frame and i lived in that state (PA) at the time. I will admit the collectors I have dealt with have been very nice, maybe its because I called them about paying the debt or maybe its my charm ha ha...regardless i requested they update the 3 CR agencies about my payments and that I am paying as agreed. They have not done so.

Hello, I have agreed to settle a debt for 60% of the original amount. since February the CA has been withdrawling 44.00 monthly on the 4th of each month from my account. 6/4/08 marks the last payment on this agreement. i feel i should have a copy of this agreement before the last payment is withdrawn because the CA "Calvary Portfolio is a bit slick I have heard. I do not want them to keep taking monies from my account after 6/4.

I was making payments on credit cards but due to illness of family member with no prescription coverage, we had to pay for her prescriptions after she had a mild stroke which in turn maxed out all our credit cards. We enrolled with Credit Consultants debt management program and have been making payments to them. One of our creditors has now filed a summons against me. I am so confused. I dont know what to do.

Has anyone heard of Simon Associates (unsure of this name as usual person could barely speak english) or phone numbers 949-743-1156 or 856-831-0640? If so, who are these people? They are claiming the same crap as Bass Associates, the dowloading your information yady yady but however they don't tell you what they are downloading with the exception of some 3 counts of internet banking fraud on behalf of the good ol US national bank and that you need to have your attorney contact them they don't tell you what it is you supposedly owe or to who you owe.

Sorry everyone, not been on too much. Been running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Work has kept me pretty busy during the day and then by the time I get home, running the daughter all over and working on the house and yard. By the time I get in, I eat dinner, take a shower and usually head to bed and about the time I start to doze, my son usually calls to talk. Yes, I hear from him almost every day now. He is doing great, just a little bored. Also been getting ready for a "birthday party" for him.

As I'm sure we all know this site has fallen a bit from it's original status on Google search. This has resulted in a lower Debt CC point award per post. That means to me that the site could be doing a lot better. In my opinion on of the largest issues that is pulling this site down are the trolls. They are attempting to degrade the quality of the site and hoping to tank it.

I live in ohio.these are with checksmart and express, and they have both told me that have to have them paid in full by this friday may 9, or it was going to collections. they won't let me make payments, i spoke with peple at their corporate offices, not the store. what happens after it goes to collections?, does collections try to set up a payment plan?
