I got a call this morning and answered and the woman says hi I am Mrs. Garcia from the Law Office of Norman Kalina-they are from NJ and so am I. We have your account from Paycheck Today and we are collecting $805.00. I got a $500 loan and paid $150. I had a loan prior for $300 and paid way over $900. Anyway, I was looking up information on them and this is what I found: A multi-state class action has been brought in Pennsylvania against Accredited Collection Agency, Inc. and attorney Norman G. Kalina.

I have been going back and forth with them after sending them a letter last week not to revoke my account, cease and desist calling me and revoking them from garnishing any wages. I proposed I would pay them the money owed less the fees etc.. I took out a loan of $500 and paid $270 toward it. They want $540. I am not budging.

From what I can tell ICollect finds a CA willing to take a debt and to collect on that debt. Does anyone know if the pdl, ICollect and AIS Services are related to each other in some form, or are they each an independent entity? Thanks...

About two months ago my mother came to me and wanted to know why National City Bank took a considerable amount of money out of her checking account for a credit card payment that was not hers. I told her that I had a line of credit with NCB and that possibly they took the money out of her account instead of mine. Well . . .apparently I started WWIII calling customer service and asking them questions about why this was allowed to happen. Calling customer service at NCB and asking them anything really hard is a total waste of time.

Just got a response from the BBB for Magnum Z. I put down DEBT Doctors because I could not find an address for Magnum Z and this is what was said by Dennis Best at Debt Doctors. Ms. ###### did not receive a loan from Debt Doctor. We are only a data processing center. She received the loan from Magnum Z LLC. If she would like their contact information, she can contact me, and I will provide it to her. Anyone have the information for Magnum Z. so I can file again. I am not going to call them as they suggest. They will just harass me more.

I posted a week or so ago about a CA that keeps calling my mother's phone number, several times a day, after I sent a cease and desist/debt validation letter. She told me they have been calling multiple times a day. When I send these letters out I even put my address and phone number on it, so there is no confusion for the CA. I happened to be there this morning at 8 AM, standing next to her phone when it started ringing. The CID read Mt. Holly, NJ, and listed the phone number.

First off I thought I read that Charge offs could not be collected on because the original creditors have already made their money back threw the IRS. Can someone clarify on that for me? Second, When a Junk Debt Buyer buys an old debt for say .06-.08 cents on the dollar, meaning they bought a debt from another debt collector or original creditor for a $3,000 debt and paid $ about $200 for it.

Here is what I have found so far: Loan Shop- Missouri Bank and Trust 816-881-8250. I talked to the ACH Department and though he would not help me I kept after him until he asked if I wanted to get them on the phone. It took a couple of minutes for her to concede to a PIF. United Cash Loans- Breamer Bank 651-734-4726. I am going to keep after them but so far they will not help me. Never hurts to get lots of people to call. I live in Ohio and currently have 5 store front payday loans. $700 each @ Always Payday and National Check Cashers. $800 @ Cashland. $600 @ Express and $650 @ Checksmart. The Always Payday one has already defaulted but have not heard anything from them as of yet. I am planning on calling them today to make arrangements. I plan on keeping Checksmart and Express because they are low enough that they will be paid off soon. My question is on Always Payday, National Check Cashers and Cashland I cannot afford the high fee anymore. I plan on calling them also to try and make arrangements.
