I know they're full of it, but do they ever stop calling?? :evil: They're with US National Bank - yeah, right... Good Grief - I had to change both my home phone and my cell phone, but they still call my work and leave these stupid messages "Mr. Brian, don't ignore my call, or else, all I can say is Good Luck, as the situation unfolds on you..."

I was told that zwicker & associates don't work with credit counseling services so I tried to talk to them and they threatened law suit and me having to pay the debt and all attorney fees, I am suppose to call them Friday, I need advise I am scared.

I guess SOME CA'a really do send proper validation. I sent a validation letter to Powell, Rodgers & Speak who were representing a credit card company. My card had a credit limit of $100.00. I owed approximately $60.00 on that card. They wasted NO time turning it over to collections. Well now, it's up to $232.00, in a matter of a few months. Those $25.00 late fees sure did rack up quickly! Anyway, I suppose my next move is to send them a settlement offer, any suggestions? Please?

I was wondering. The information supplied on this board has listed an address as 515 GSE, Miami, Ok. for MTE. There has also been some speculation that they are "renting", if you will, space from the reservation. Is it not possible that rather than renting from the reservation, it is the reservation itself as the registrant of MTE? If you cross reference the address, it actually comes back to the Modoc Tribe of Oklahoma. Is it also not possible that the MT stands for just that, Modoc Tribe? I suppose the E could be anything. . . .possibly Enterprise? Just a thought. .

Hey everyone....posted a little tonight, have read a little, but another crisis here. I believe I have told you all the my mom had emphazima, which we know there is not cure. She makes a lot of trips back and forth to the doctors, but so far, knock wood, she has not had to pull around an oxygen tank. Almost 2 weeks ago she went in for some tests and found some dark spots on her lungs. They decided to do a biopsy on her to see what the spots were. Well in the process, they somehow punctured one of her lungs. Her lung did not collapse right away.

So I have been going through this forum pages for many hours. I would like to run my situation by you to see if I have it all straight. I have three PDL's Loan Sop I got $300.00 and have paid 720 Upfront Cash I got $350 and have paid 945 United Cash Loans I got $300.00 and have paid 450.00 I have checked the Illinois laws and it appears that they are not licenced in IL. Also if I am reading the law right I have gone way over the 45 day limit and the loans have been rolled over which is prohibited in IL. The law says that you can't charge more than 15.50 per $100.00.

Due to Financial hardship I was unable to pay my Sept 2007 rent. I had a verbal agreement with the prior property manager that if I voluntarily moved out that he would cancel the eviction proceedings and payment arrangements could be made toward the Sept rent. Thereafter I was inconstant communication with the manager and leasing office and informed them of the day that that I would move out.

I know after reading all the bad experiences that we have all had with collection agencies in the past I do however want to report that I had a POSITIVE experience with one. I had gotten a Verizon wireless card for my sister to use and she neglected to pay the bill. I paid the first one for her in November but she had paid nothing on it since then. This was ulitmatley turned over to collections. After speaking with the gentleman with the collection agency I found him very courteous and very helpful.

I have a question has anyone received any of their stimulus check payments into their account as they stated they were going to start sending them out today? MY SS# ends in 19 and according to the schedule it would be May 2 but I read where payments would be processed earlier. Just wondering if this has really happened yet. As you can tell I am anxious for mine sure could use it.
