The lawyer for the collection agency file a memorandum of deafualt judgement on my mothers home. I have no interest in the property and i don;t own it. My mother does. Can they put a lein on her property for my debt? Is that illegal?

I had a default judgement against me in aug 07, trying to get it vacated and the reason is because they served it to the wrong address. i haven't live there in 6 years. they served it to my 16 year old sister. i never knew i was being sue until the hr department of my employment contacted me. i'm being sue for 2500 dollars from a 800 dollars debt 8 years ago from providian. arrow financial it the company sueing me now. i talked to 3 lawyers ad two turned me down. one said he would help me if i paid him 2000 dollars, if even if he does not guarantee i would win the case.

Hi, i'm new to this forum. I need help I have 7 PDLs and they are all done in stores. I have no living family,unfortunatly. I needed help to keep us going. I live in VA. The PDLs are with Quik Cash, Check Smart, Advance America, Check'n Go, 1st Choice, ACE Cash Express, and Cash-2-Go of VA. I want to pay them off, but the interest is too high. Help!!!! i signed up day before yesterday but never got a password have tried to retrieve and it never comes to my email??? i have signed up again and same thing is happening? where do i get a password???!!!!!???

Fight It! 1) Go into the bank and speak with the branch manager where you have the account. 2) Demand to see in writing where the Federal Reserve allows them to hold your funds for that extended period. 3) Send a fax to both the local branch manager and a bank executive [VP], demanding your money.
