Nes wants to take money from my acct. I bank with a credit union can I stop the payment from coming out

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide, I'm sorry this is a bit lengthy. A few years ago I had a shipping insurance policy with a company. I never signed anything, and it was month to month and I could cancel at any time. After a year or so, I did cancel via email, which is the way the policy was originally set up. The company continued to send me a monthly bill after I already canceled. So, I called them and let them know that I already canceled. The person I spoke to said ok. I then continued receiving bills. I called again, same story.

Collection Agency's Server Stolen; Had 700,000 Accounts On It Indiana broke its own record for computer security breaches last month, when a server containing personal data on 700,000 people was stolen from the offices of Central Collection Bureau, a debt collection agency. The stolen data included names, personal billing information, last known addresses, and social security numbers of people who hold delinquent accounts with a variety of companies, including utilities and hospitals.

I've noticed at the top of the forum there are a bunch of different areas for what appears to be frequently accessed information (individual state laws, FDIC, etc). In addition, there are a million posts looking for addresses. Why not create a "sticky" for PDL companies and addresses to avoid posts focusing on addresses. In addition, it will create a more reliable and easy to use addresses database. That way, if an address is incorrect it can get fixed once and for all. Just a thought...I don't know who it would go to.

HI my Husband took out a payday loan from 2 companys Sandpoint Capitol And Loanshop/Loancove They are trying to take out 45dollars a week not any going to principal on a 300 dollar loan and loanshop is trying to take out 75dollars a week on a 250 dollar loan nothing going toward principle I have sent them a letter to revoking there right to debit my account and also to call or contact employer what else do I need to do

If they threaten to sue and they don't follow threw with it, I know that I can sue them. BUT If I declare bankruptcy first, could I sue them afterwards? I was told that to go after a debt collector, there was a time limit of 2 years.

Well I have a rather interesting situation. As you know I have had success in dealing with collectors and fixing the credit report. I have researched the laws of this state in-depth and have constructed my own letters. Well my sister wanted some help so I helped her and got several things removed from her credit. Now here is where things start to get interesting: I have started to get calls from friends of my sister, who heard what I did for her and want me to help them. They have offered to pay me.
