i sent a dv letter to bennett and deloney requesting validation.. i did the online return recipt.. on the day they recived it.. benett and deloney called via there auto dialer i saved the voicemail.. can i sue benett and deloney.. cause they voliated 2 fdcpa laws.. not honoring a cease and disist and attempting to collect a debit when asked to validate any more violations?

I have a question about a medical bill, the balance left after insurance paid. I contacted the hospital for financial help and was denied that help. Then the hospital got a collection agency involved. Now they say if I do not have it paid by April 2, 2008 they will turn this over to an attorney. Can they attach wages for this bill?? I am going with a debt relief program and this account is included with them as part of my payment plan. What should I do? Should I pay the bill? The collection agency is very nasty and does not want to talk to me.

I think this was on another thread about how some of the last wishes of some of the kids are forcing The Make a Wish Foundation into bankruptcy, but did want to pass on a happier note. Today is opening season for baseball, and i am watching the Mariners game. There was an 11 yr old that his wish was to meet the baseball team. He got to be the first one out this season to run the bases and have two the players meet him at home plate.

Can anyone help me out there. I have proof that I paid off an old Pay Day Loan and can't get the company to send me a Paid In Full letter for my records. It is going on two months now and they keep messing with me. When I call, the manager isn't available or he tells me he sent it out. I have emailed him multiple times, called multiple times, etc. Still no PAID IN FULL Letter with Zero Balance. Any suggestions? I need this for credit reporting purposes for possible mortgage loan. Today was my payday and it was the first time in over a year that my bank acct. wasn't overdrawn and i didn't owe the bank for a cash advance. I paid my quest bill, ppl (electric), Vet bill (for my dog that died) rent, went grocery shopping and came home with money. Came home with enough money so i can pay my son's sports fees and apply the rest to his lunch acct. Didn't get the Auto insurance paid but will most likely do that by the end of the week. (Son is going to take his drivers test this Friday) I have tried to put it off for as long as i could, but can't do it any longer.

Can someone please explain what a dismissal hearing is? I cannot get to talk to anyone at the court. This is for a civil debt case, I am the defendant. I have been tracking my case online and see that the court has scheduled a "dismissal hearing" for May 19. What exactly does this mean? Will the court write to me? Do I have to attend? Thank you for your help. I am in Texas

I sent a debt validation/dispute letter to a collection agency who is trying to collect $5500 on an account that has been inactive since early 2003. Today, I got a letter in the mail from the original creditor which included copies of a few unpaid bills from early 2003 and a copy of their customer agreement. The letter states that "a copy of the original application was not available, which indicates this account was applied for by telephone or internet." Does this constitute validation of the debt?

When I was 21 I moved in with my now ex boyfriend... I ran up debts and made my mistakes :oops: Now I am getting sued from Apothaker in Philadelphia. I am looking for strength. I know this debt is old and I know he is a bully. I plan too fight him tooth and nail. Am I scared? Yes but I am positive.

Hey everyone I emailed the letters to all my PDL's last week and gave them the deadline of today to respond, I checked my email today and no responses BUT they did send me reminders that my payday was coming so they will be deducting their payments LOL. So what do I do now if they dont contact me regarding the letters?
