I live in Virginia and have gotten into trouble with paying payday loans.

I have a levy on my checking account until the 14th of April, I've already talked to the company about setting up payments, but they told me they cannot remove the levy once its been put on so I just have to wait till April 14. Problem is that I totaled out my car on Feb. 14th and now I have to get a new one. Will I be able to get a loan since I have the levy on my checking account? I'll have a co-signer and everything, so it won't just be under my name...

Hello, This is not my situation yet but could be. I am putting almost all of my income per month into a debt settlement program. I have about a 100.00 to play with. If one of my creditors decides to sue I can't pay anything. What would be my options from this point. A lawyer told me that I would have to go for chapter 13 if I couldn't afford to pay them. Any help or guidance would be great. Thanks Ray

Its a fact: 1) Many can't afford professional help as die to high cost. 2) People do need to talk to someone. 3) We have counseling experts in community but they don't want to disclose their identity. Now, I initially was not having a problem paying these, only I lost my purse the end of Feb - filed police report and all. Called the bank immediately and got a new bank card and everything.

I am dealing with Javitch Collections. My son used my car and was involved in a car accident and he was not insured. The bill for the repair of the other car was 3000.I have offered to pay in full the amount. My mum passed and I could not make that payment. I paid 800.00 and called them to ask for more time to make other arrangements. I offered to pay the amount in 2 settlements, but they refused and said they were going to sue. I am so frustrated with these people as they are so arrogant and will not work with me. What can I do? The last day they gave me is today and then they will sue.
