I need help. In a bind I took out a loan with Great Plains. I've paid 2 of 12 payments. I've been doing some research and it looks like loan companies are supposed to be licensed in Alabama to operate. Trying to figure out what to do next. Am I legally bound by this contract? How do I address this with Great Plains? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have payday loans out with Quik Cash (storefront) for $500.00 and one with Great Plains (online lender) for $500 as well I just want to know really if this site "http://www.online-payday-loans.org/state-licensed-lenders/" is legitimate resource to determine whether or not Great Plains is a legal lender in the state of MO. Any help you could give regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

I/m getting calls from a company called United. 877-630-8392. said they are litigation company for payday loans. they have been in my email address and calling my job caused me to loose my jhob and want me to pay them for loans i know nothing about. they have been in my checkin accout taking money and sent bank a fraud check a signed my name to it to take money out of account saying i owe a payday loan co. cops and bank says i can't do anything .i don't owe them anything what do i do?

Hello and thank you for having a place like this for people like me to come and feel like we are not alone. I lost my job about two months ago and have come to the conclusion that it is time to think about filing for chapter 7. I am about $25000 in unsecured debt and without a job I can no longer pay. I have spoken to an attorney and she said that I am a prime candidate for chapter 7. I however am very analytical and just want to make sure, I have found that information in the internet can be very contradicting. So I have landed here and would like some advice.
