I have payday loans all online, and the one company I tried to pay off over a month ago, but when you call the number listed you have to leave a message for someone to call you back. I am at work during the day so I emailed them the request to please take to $200 out of my account, instead they have continually taken $40 every week, and have since November 17, 2007. At this point and time I have over drawn my checking account because I can never balance my account and I don't know what to do.

I posted on here several weeks ago after I had gotten home from the hospital after having a stroke. Stroke caused brain damage and almost blind, have to wear 2 pair of glasses to read and write. I only have Social Security income and own no property or cars. I sent DV and CD request to a CA by certified mail rrr, but they never signed for it. I pulled a copy of my CR this morning and it shows the CA sold it to Portfolio Recovery Assoc.. My CR has "Type of Loan" Factoring Company Account Purchaser", and shows a payment of $300.00, but no date of last payment. I checked with the SOS in GA.

I have been divorced from my exhusband for over 7 years. He had an unsucured line of credit through discover card services, when we separated he physically took control of all credit cards. This was in 1999, our divorce was final in 2000, my exhusband remarried as soon as it was legally possible then declared bankrupcy. Since then I have remarried and Discover card services has been harrassing me for payment and because my ex is covered by the bankrupcy law, they are demanding over $9,000 from me. My question is can they come after me since my husband was remarried before he filed bankrupcy.

First and foremost, this site is amazing! It has help me understand this ridiculous industry! I guess now I am looking for confirmation regarding my thoughts on these two loans. I reside in Georgia however both companies did the standard "this loan is deemed to have taken place in such and such." Neither is a store front. I have read the Georgia law post on this site, as well as diving into the actual law text. From my understanding neither one of these companies are legal and are not authorized to issue loans to residence of Georgia.

I posted a few days ago about the issue I'm having with Rannefeld & Associates. Harassment is where this is going right now. King or Ken or whatever his name is has called me 2 more times. he left a message today saying "this is a DOCUMENTED ATTEMPT to reach ..." and that I must return the call by 6:30pm. I just got the letter in the mail on Saturday... (to which I will request the validation - but wanted to wait 2 weeks since I know I have 30 days) can they really proceed with anything without waiting the 30 days???

Is there a PDL consolidation company that is recommended to help people deal with PDL's similar to those bill consolidation companies that help with too many credit cards? Patrick Q

have receive Phone call from this place today...tracked down the website and emailed them to send me an email as to what the phone call is about. they are a collection agency based out of NJ..Has anyone else had experiences with these people? what are they like to work with?
