yesterday i got something in the mail from gogetcash.com.. i defaulted on them a year ago there now offering me life insurance.. i was like omg there down to a new low.. offering me life insurance. on the applacation they ask for my personal info and on top my credit card and checking account info.. what a shame what these companies will do to get your new account info

The debt I have has been in collection since 2005, but I only recently discovered it on my CR. They had been sending the collection notices to the wrong address for 3 yrs.! Can I still request validation today, even though the debt old? is there a SOL on requesting validation in California? Thanks for any help....

As most everyone knows I have been sending my daily C and D letters to MyCashNow, PayDayMax and UsFastCash. I did recently get an email from customer service at UsFastCash stating that they forwarded my email over to their compliance department. They were kind enough to provide me with an email adress so I have that one. I only have email address for customer service or support at the other two and was wondering if anyone had a compliance department email for MyCashNow and/or PayDayMax.

I was looking up information for a member on my cash now's web site. I had paid a loan off to them and decided to use my log in to see if I could come up with additional information to help...While on there there is an advertisement for a Preferred Member Program. This is what it said... I do not know why this shocked me, but it did...I had paid $1188 on a $500 loan....That was $688 in fees, etc... multiply that by 5...$3440 in fees etc.

I need to contact northway debit too, they took two payments out of my account that they shouldn't have. I'm in the process of shutting my account down and have found out that once my bank shuts my account, anybody attempting to ACH from my account will not be able to from that point on, and the bank said they won't show it as my owing anything. The only repercussions that could happen are that Northway Debit could say I owe them, IF I signed saying they could withdraw (continually) from my account and gave my bank acct information to allow them to do so.

I live in NJ-I started receiving calls from the Loan Shop and also known as Northbay Ventures, Alberta Ventures and Westbury Ventures. His name is Kenneth Combs and he also called my work looking for information. My company was already notified to not take any wage assignment and/or talk to them in regards to me. They are great.

Does anyone know of a reputable debt consolidation company that I can contact? I live in NJ. I tried the one listed on this site but they told me I needed to have at least 3000 dollars in credit card debt. I don't have a huge amount of credit card debit but I do have other debits, which was why I wanted to consolidate everything together. Thanks!

Does a cease & desist letter work for payday loan companies, such as Cash Transfer Centers? I have sent them a letter to revoke the wage assessment that I signed and have contacted my payroll company and finally I have filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General. All the examples I have read of cease & desist letters are for a collection agency. Any help with is appreciated.

Good morning, I have contacted my bank and a freeze has been issued to my account but yet two transactions went through this morning, I put the freeze on yesterday before 2:00. I called the bank and the person that helped me told me that they could've been authorized before the freeze was put on. One I know did not ask for mone until 4:30 CST.
