Mornin' folks - I found this info on the stimulus payments in my inbox the other day, and thought to pass it along. It's from the IRS Newswire email newsletter.

My credit needs improvement, I would like to apply for a consolidation loan of $25,000. With this loan,I can own my 50000 appraised home, pay all my debts including bad debts and also do some roof repairs as well. What is the possibility or possibilities?

I make 18,000 per year. I have 4 credit cards I want to consolidate. 5,000 @ 29% 2,500 @ 12% 5,000 @ 22% 550 @ 29% My credit score was 752 and after quitting my job, moving twice and some other personal matters it has dropped to 500 over 5 months. So I know I couldn't get a loan to pay them off. I also have 8k in student loans that I plan to pay off by monthly payments. I didn't factor in those nor do I want to. Anyways, I set up payment plans and now all the cards are under the credit limit and in good standing.

how do i pay off my payday loans? i have a total of 5 loans totaling 1,435 dollars that I can't pay pff all at once what do I do to pay them off the most that i can afford right now is 1 to 150 dollars a month. please advice?

Hey! Just wanted to let everyone know I AM ALIVE! :D Sorry I haven't been around much, but I'm feeling better after the surgery. Then things get busy. You know how it is. Got a new computer so I can REALLY type now! LOL! :lol: I'm playing "catch up" on here now. I just wanted to thank everyone who expressed concern for me. That really means a lot to me. At least I know I have some friends!! Anyway, just wanted to give you an update and let you all know that I'm feeling MUCH better now. Let's hope they don't find something else wrong with me! Just kidding! :wink:

Just wanted to come on here and post for all the new members of the community and all the guests who are browsing this site. Read these success stories. They are an inspiration and give the knowledge that it can be done. It was awful when I first came here. Awful. 12 internet loans and 5 storefront loans. No money for rent. No money for groceries. No money for gas. Life was dark and ugly and depressing. After coming here by the grace of God, I have NO pdls. No internets, no storefronts. It can be done. I promise. It's hard work. It's time consuming. But you can do it on your own.

Recieving harassing calls from collectors when I have no debt with you.

I'm just curious if anyone else has done consolidation, what was your experience like?? I signed up on January 25th with american credit counselors inc and they have not contacted my creditors yet. I called them the other day and they said they usually don't contact them until after they recieve the first payment (which will be next week on the 19th). The problem I'm having is now my payments are behind and the creditors are calling me non stop. They say it can take 3-6 weeks to get a response from creditors to agree to the terms of consolidation.
