I was wondering i was charged on my credit card by an online gambling site i did not make those charges. I disputed the charges and my credit card refunded back my money found the charges were fraudulent. Now jmc is contacting me and trying to collect a debt on the processing company. They told me i had to get a police report to send. I tried but the police department wants documents like the affidavits to the company that is trying to get the money from me. They tell me they have no such docs. So they gave me a dead line and said they were going to ruin my credit.

someone put a credit card in my name with providian when i was just 12yrs old. i'm 19 now.i found out about it when i got my credit report. i tried getting a police report, but the police told me they couldn't press charges. and gave me a case #. today,i disputed the charges made by providian and credigy on my credit report. i was wanting to know if there's anything more i should do?

to those on this site-mods, posters... We are mostly lurkers, reading and identifying with others situations. We wanted to let you know... You saved us big time! We were just about to sign with Credit Solutions when we came across this site and found the posts regarding them being BAD NEWS. You saved us from untold heartache and stress from them. We are now in the process of filing Chapter 7 with a lawyer in our community. Thanks, mods & others, for all the straight talk, the truth and encouragement we've read about. Hey all, Here is a little background information on my current situation. A little over 2 years ago I had to leave the US due to family reasons and was unable to return due to my permanent residency having expired and unable to no longer be renewed. As a result, all my debts in the US have gone unpaid. Can't live in two countries at once, especially when not even know if I'd ever be able to return to the US. Now I am back with old debts and a credit report to clean up.

Hi, I am trying to get help...I have 5 payday loans that I seriously cannot afford to pay back. 4 are storefront and 1 is online. I live in Texas. What advice or options can I get to help me in my situation?

This company made an oral agreement for settlement on amount owed, with me and now because it changed case workers they have increased it by $1100.00. Also, we have sent letter after letter not to call us to do everything via email or via mail. We cant seem to get any response. They continue to call and say they never received anything about not calling. They just don't care... D. Michelle Anderson
