They call me 10 times a day at work! They got their money PLUS some several months ago--yet they still continue to call! I really thought at this point they would have given up, but today they called the freaking' switchboard at my job! How embarrassing! :oops: Is there no one to report these people to?

Well it looks like I meet the requirements for moderator status, so I need 5 people to support me by sending either Mike or Polly a PM for the request. I'd really like to help moderate the dealing with collection agencies forum to help cut down on the spam and trolling. If anyone would like to help me out on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I have successfully made arrangements to pay off everything except one from a company called impact cash. I found a website for them but there is no phone number. Also I put in my email address for them to send me my login info and it has never sent me anything. Any suggestions???

Just wondering, once you have sent out a validation letter and not received a response, what exactly is your best course of action? Should I send out another one, or wait for the inevitable? I am quite sure this CA is not going to just let this matter go and will eventually try to garnish my wages or sue me, but they simply will not respond to my validation letter at all. The CA is Merchants Credit Guide Co. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello, I received a call from "Jason O'Connor" from a company called Restitution Services, telephone number given above. Supposedly they are collecting for a "US National Bank" and have a judgement against me and will be serving papers asap. They woul dNOT tell me who the originator of the loan is, and basically would not answer any questions at all. Can anyone advise if you have heard of this company or dealt with them? Thanks so much!

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I have a question. I have searched my settings and haven't been able to find any info on how to turn off the auto log out. Is there anyway to do that or is it a board default setting, thanks. :)

I actually watched them this AM on the DVR as I was down with a cold and turned in early last night. I thought the show was awesome this year. What did you think?

Hey, I just got something in the mail about me being a possible lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit against the Creditors Interchange Receivable Management. About 4 months ago they called me pretending to be calling from my debt settlement law firm. They told me that they could not handle my MBNA america debt and that I should call Creditors Interchange because Creditors Interchange and my law firm worked out an agreement for all MBNA clients. This was a lie and now the law firm is going to sue them. Watch out for a letter or posting if this or other deceptive things have happened.

I had filed bankruptcy two years back at that time i had no option and to tell you the truth i was not that financially educated that i could think of any other option than filing for bankruptcy to clear my debts. Now I have realized what a fool i was to declare myself bankrupt. I am not being able to get a home mortgage at a decent rate as my credit report has a black mark named bankruptcy. Its been two years now and iam sick and tired of knocking at the doors of lenders.
