I received a 1099c for a debt from 2006. I was wondering if you could claim Insolvency exclusion with this debt?

It has been a long time since I had posted. Anyway, Still good to contribute my 1 cent worth Having a cash flow is always good no matter what and lets face it if we have that extra cash flow we would not be so much in debt Listed below is certain keys to have that extra cash flow (1) Knowing your Cash Balance. - Seems simple enough but it is really important that you know what your bank balance is. It will prevent from overspending (2) Know Your Six Months Cash Balance- As a prequel to the above, What do you expect your cash balance to be six months from now?

After being out of work for almost three years, I found employment. But by this time all my debts have spun out of control. At this point I have over $18,000 in credit card debt, my checking account has been frozen and my defaulted student loan of $38,000 has resulted in a garnishment started on my pay check. I have an appointment with Consumer credit counseling Service on the 22nd of this month. Will being enrolled with DM stop my garnishment? Will they even take it on? I'm at my wit's end here. I don't even see a tunnel, just a deep dark hole. Please, some words of advice.

Hi- I just looked up Allied Data. I got a message today from them it said just what you all had stated. I don't know if it was for us. It could have been because we have had lots of financial issues, but we changed our number about 2 months ago to an unlisted number. Should I return the call or just wait and see if another call come in? Thanks Everyone Lizzie

I received this email today. I think this is from when I filed with the FTC. Quote:

Before I get too involved in the case I would like to know if your issues with this company have been resolved. I used my paypal account to pay for it. The seller had a very low rating and this should have sent off alarms. Within 2 weeks I received my brand new Tom-Tom, but it was sent to me from TigerDirect.com. (funny, but still no alarms) In December I got a call from paypal and they wanted to know if the item had come from Tiger Direct.
