Hello Everyone, I am hoping you can help me out with a letter I received. First please allow me to tell you a little bit of my story. I pulled a copy of my credit report back some months ago and saw that Law Office of Gerald E. Moore had pulled by credit report for “Collection Purposes”. I called them and found out that they were trying to collection for west asset management and told them that I would like them to verify the debt.

Well I have not a big debt history behind me, just couple mistakes from the past. Here my mine problem is that I live in a almost in a pay day by pay day basis, money its not enough if I have $30 in my account until next pay check will be a miracle. My main problem right now is Amscott I'm just want to get rid of it right now and that will be a big step and will help me to get some savings. :wink:

I posted a while back about Webpayday...They have continued to call me several times/day at work, and are telling me they do not have a mailing address, and they must have my payment by debit card, or they will proceed with taking any tax refund I receive...I cannot send them a C&D letter without a mailing address, nor can I send a payment...Any advice would be appreciated.

I have received notice from a collection agency that a $69 bill is due from whenever my daughter moved from her apartment. My wife and I co-signed for the sublet (she was not the original leasee) for cleaning charges. When she moved in, we notified the complex about several items that were not up to cleanliness standards. It was noted in her file and my wife and I re cleaned the entire apartment. When she moved out, we asked for someone from the complex to have a walk through, but they kept making excuses as to why someone was not available for this.

I have about $1500 with two pdl's combined,but can't make the payment for one of them. One is with Dollar Loan Center in South Dakota and one is for Money Lenders in South Dakota. Can anyone give me advice regarding consolidation or any other suggestions to pay this off before I pay them a lot more money in interest? Thanks!

I had a cc debt charged off and sent to Schrieber and assoc, pc. I made agreement to make monthly payments and did so for years was never late. on my credit report it was listed as a charge off and the payment history was not mentioned on there. I asked them why and they never answered me so I stopped payments. Shouldn't they report your payment history when you make an agreement and stick to it??

does anyone know if debt collectors are allowed to call ur cell phone? I've always thought they couldn't unless u authorized them. Long story short i have no land line and have collectors harassing me on my cell. i ask them not to call and tell them its my cell but they claim since i have no other phone they are allowed to waste my minutes calling my cell, is this true?
