:lol: If you have a loan w/ these people contact your state attorney general's office and file a complaint also w/ the BBB if you have paid your principal plus intrest.. DO NOT LET them bully you w/ illegal collections!!! I did it!!!

I just got a response from the Little Loan Shoppe installment loans -- they are saying that their loan does not apply to state laws because it's not a PDL--it's an installment loan. I can't find where they're licensed. Does anybody know anything about them? UPDATE:They're licensed in Utah as Little Loan Shoppe installment loans Canada and they're address is in Spokane, WA.

Hi all, I just stumbled on this site as I was cruising the web looking for some help. I started with SDS West debt settlement company a year ago and they have actually settled with one account, however, Target account has sued me and I have to appear in court tomorrow. SDS West does not represent me in court and my knees are knocking. I am very discouraged with this program since only one out of the three creditors has indicated they will settle after one year. I don't want three more lawsuits on my back!

Well, they summoned me, probably hoping from the many posts I found here that it would default. Well...it didn't. Let me tell what I've done then I'll get to my questions for a some thoughts and help... Immediately after receiving the summons, I sent a DV letter, this was certified and delivered 1/2/08. I waited until shortly before the date I needed to reply, not expecting to get validation, before entering answer to summons of "I don't know anything about alleged 'debt'" to sum it up (of course sending them a copy as well).
