I signed on with Campos Chartered Law firm in Sept 2007, are they legit?, so far the things that make me leary are. I cannot ever get int ouch with them, you cannot leave messages, the bills are directed to New York, but they are licensed in Florida, local attorney has contacted me stating they are starting a legal proceeding against me on behalf of one of my creditors.Have I made a bad mistake in using them to try to avoid bankruptcy?

I was reading up on negotiating settlement with credit card companies; I have "Fair" credit (no dings, but cards maxed out), can I call and negotiate a cash settlement with them without letting my credit fall apart first? Also, can I get a co-signed consolidation loan to pay these negotiated balances?

Can barely pay the bills and am freaking out every time I have to spend any money on life. We have no money to pay for life after we pay our bills. I am scared and don't have any more tricks up my sleeve to get us out of this mess. I signed up for a consultation and cannot wait. I'm so scared and feel like such a loser. :oops: :oops:

I am making payment arrangements to pay a hospital bill to keep it off my credit report. Now that I know what the legal interest rate for Texas is, I am wondering if I have the right to demand that interest rate instead of the interest rate the collection agency is proposing. I don't want it to go on the credit report after all this work I have been putting into cleaning it up, but I have the right to the interest rate allowed by Texas.

my husband went through getting the summons and having to respond in 20 days. We responded with a proposal of a monthly payments due to my many medical problems. They rejected the proposal and a court date with a lien on real property was awarded to cach, llc. My property is worth more than the debt of 1300.00. Will I lose my home over a credit card that has been charged off already. This is a bunch of stress I do not need right now.

This company has placed a judgment on my credit report that does not belong to me. It is my fathers and we share the same name with different middle initials. I need to know what action i can take in order to clear up this mess. Thanks for any help.

I would never recommend hess Kennedy for anything..they do not call you back and are very rude people..they will also use your money that is sent in for fee's...i had sent in a check for 1600.00 to go toward a credit card the full amount to that credit card and they used it to pay there high fees...i have paid 2100.00 in fees so far and hess kennedy says i still owe them 900.00 more dollars..i also has my accts paid off within 3 months and i still have to pay all the fees...2100.00 is not counting the first 3 payments of 900.00 that i had to pay..

So this is how it started and how I ended up here. Go ahead, go grab a drink or two, kick your feet up and have that nice little pillow handy to doze off on, cause it's rally not an interesting story. About, oh 2 or 3 years ago, while shopping with my friend for her wedding, she had to stop at the cash store and do a payday loan. I asked her how it works, since we only get paid once a month and all of us are always broke come the third week in the month LOL She told me and I told hubby (lonegunman).
