also does anyone know what exactly happens when a writ of execution (have a default judgment against me-in other posts), the steps and what the debtor should expect if the sheriff or constable shows up, not with a summons, etc. but to actually "execute" the writ? do they come in and look at your things? can't seem to find out anything on the web.

Can someone please explain what a Notice Of Intent To Take Default is? I received notice I was being sued by a credit card company in November, never heard anything else until today when I get this in the mail. i did a district case search and 1 of my husbands oc's are taking him to court... he made arrangements with them 6 months ago and has been paying but it shows on 12/7 a trial date was set by their lawyer for march :shock: . we never received anything in the mail from the oc, their lawyer, or court about the trial. don't they have to send him something in the mail that the account was sold to a lawyer? it was sold to the lawyer 6 months ago and he got a letter saying that the oc would buy back the acct if he made payment arrangements and kept them which he has! what can i or should i do?

My exwife has about $12,000 of loan/CC debt and about $20,000 student loan debt. She only makes about $21,000 a year and is struggling to pay the bills. Together her monthly payments are about $650/mo on these debts but realistically she can only afford $350/mo. Hey gang... anyone ever heard of this operation? Short for National Action Financial Services... a quick google didn't pull up much info. I checked my credit report recently and saw that these guys did a hard inquiry the other day. I have no bad debt at the moment! But I wonder if I should call them just to see what it is they're scheming... should I call them?
