I'm having a hard time trying to find a company to represent me. I was wondering if Financial Solutions Legal Center is a good company to go with.

We are going to be opening another account very soon and I'm wondering some names of some banks that might be good for us. We are in Maryland. I currently have an account with my ex-husband at Provident. Does anyone know if other banks offer free checking and access to accounts online? Or are all banks like that these days? OH, and I want to be able to have the debit/credit card tied to my account too like Provident offers. Thanks!

I'm so glad I found this website Thursday just wish I had found it sooner. I've been dealing with payday loans since Aug 2005 and was able to pay all of them on time til the First of this month when I closed my checking account. I had 5 pay day loans and already have 2 PIF's since Thursday. 3 to go. Payday Select-PIF as of 1/18/07 Payday Ok-PIF as of 1/18/07 Payday One-300-pd 48.75. Discount Advances-240-pd 0.00 GFS-275-pd 0 I was just wandering how to deal with GFS since it seems so many of you have had dealings with them, I was just wandering what is the best approach.

We ran into a big financial mess, and have not paid January mortgage. We are going to pay that one this week, and be able to pay February's mortgage on time. I've NEVER been late or behind on the mortgage-- but this month has been crazy with the NSF fees, and our funds being all messed up with no employment. My soon to be ex is supposed to be paying part of the bills, and has not worked since October. he is now 3 states away from me. My new boyfriend is working hard to pay the bills, but he just started there and we had to waite a bit for his intial check.

Any one know how to contact this PDL?? They are taking money and I need to stop it...

I have an account with the Loan Shop. I sent them a C&D letter back on the 9th of Dec. I received an e-mail stating that as of the 20th of Dec, that my account with The Loan Shop was paid in full.Since then they continue to debit my old bank account that remains open due to it being nsf.I have filed complaints with the fraud division to attempt a reversal of charges.Can or should I file a complaint with the Florida AG? If they sent me a PIF shouldn't they have stopped debiting my account?

What do I put in letters to internet PDL's that tell them that 1. bank account is closed - do not try to withdraw 2. stop calling work (isn't that illegal) 3. I would like to pay off but I do not know how much I overpaid them. I am in FL

I was wondering if anyone has sample letters or wording to send to the PDL's that tell them the following: 1.) Account has been closed - do not continue to withdraw. 2)Cease and desist calling at work. 3) Payoff arrangements and how to find out what you really owe them since I have overpaid on them and I am in Florida so they are illegal. Payday loan yes - Loaned $250 With Ext. and feed pd $240 my cash now - loaned $880 Paid 1460 Payday Today Loaned $300 - Paid $360 Thanks so much in advance.

I was reading some info from another site "myconsumer rights", and it stated: "If you get sued and a copy of the contract is not attached to the complaint, the debt collector may be unable to prove the debt is valid. Use this as a defense when you answer the complaint." Anyone have any input?

GA. Legal Aid suggest that when you send a DV letter to a CA that you send a copy to the original creditor and a copy to the FTC. What are your opinions??
