I received a letter from PRA today in response to my second letter asking that they actually validate my debt. It states briefly that "courts have stated that verification of a debt involves 'nothing more than the debt collector confirm in writing that the amount being demanded is what the creditor is claiming is owed.'" Then they reference Azar v Hayter, Chaudry v Gallerizzo, Smith v Transworld, Graziano v Harrison and Mahon v Credit Bureau of Placer County, Inc.

Are telecheck and TRS Recovery the same? Are they a collection agency? Do they need to follow the fdcpa? They've called 3 times since 12/26, nothing in writing yet. Don't know what they're talking about. I don't have a checking account. Did not identify themselves as a collection agency. :roll:

We need some help in deciding what our best option is. I have a good paying job, but years of bad choices with credit cards has us in over our heads. We have good credit scores(~700) and are not late on any payments. However, we can barely make the minimum payments and buy groceries every month. We want to do something other than bankruptcy. We hear conflicting information about settlement vs consolidation. We are leaning towards consolidation, but we want to make an informed, well thought out decision. Youe guidance is appreciated.

If you do not like watching you tube videos all day you are not going to enjoy this movie. It also doesn't really follow the story plot about the monster, it's about friends trying to find another one and getting out of the city. The ending blows if you are looking for a typical ending. I read somewhere that this is supposed to be the American Godzilla type movie so I don't know if we will see more or not. If so I hope that it isn't like this one and has a better plot.

i'm in debt. i've owe about 3 credit cards about 2800.00 all together. I'm behind on my bike payment and will be catching up with that when i get my income tax. I still owe about 9000 on my bike and only 1500 behind. I'm behind about 5 or 6 payments each. im not working and currently collecting unemployement until I get a good job. how should i go about my debt. debt consolidation or what. any advice would be helpful.
