Hello, I was so thankful to have found this website 2 weeks ago. I have been drowning in payday loans for MONTHS! I have followed the advice here and sent the ACH revocation letters to 2 lenders who were opperating illegally in my state of CA.

How ligitimate is United Recovery System?

World foremost bank is 5-10 days from selling off my acct to CA according to rep I spoke to. My acct is about 160 past due. Balance is just shy of $6000. I will should have $4-5000 near mid December to settle. Would need to offer a settlement over 2-3 months time. What is an acceptable offer to make. I'd like to offer 2000 or is this too low? I have a few other cards that need settled as well. Citi 7000, chase 5000, GE cap 5000.

Can a collection agency use the wage assignment agreement that you agreed to with the original creditor?

It has been about 3 weeks since I closed my bank account and took things into my own hands again. I have received 2 "account closed" responses and I finally feel that things are getting better. However, it has been almost 2 weeks since I have heard anything from Spot Loan. I received the original email they sent out stating that I do owe them, blah blah blah. I have emailed them back about 3 or 4 times requesting a response or a paid in full, and nothing. Should I just let it go or keep emailing? They do not have a website that you can log into to. Hi i live in Pennsylvanian and this company call "The Seven Group" has deposit funds into my account without my knowledge of this, how they got my information. I don't want any payday loan and will like to speak to them and return the funds back . But there was no information left on send to me or i did not speak to anyone about this payday loan. Hi All - This forum has given me hope. I am dealing with Cashinawink right now to try and get at least a PIF from them (orig loan - 1000, total pmts 1350). Does anyone have specifics on who/how to contact the AG or the Department of Banking in Delaware. I understand that after contacting either or both, some people have had successes in gettting the PIF from them. Thanks to all for giving hope to people stuck in this pit.
